Konon di sebuah hutan, hidup sesosok makhluk penghisap jiwa manusia yang disebut Moa. Ia tinggal di sebuah hutan terlarang yang berada tak jauh dari pemukiman. Dengan bantuan seorang pendeta, sebuah penghalang kuat berhasil dipasang di perbatasan antara hutan dan desa. Namun kehidupan di sana kembali terancam saat si pendeta berhasil terbunuh dan penghalang itu semakin melemah, membuat Moa bisa dengan bebas keluar masuk desa dan menyebabkan banyak korban berjatuhan.
