Waiting for her. I always feel like I’m trespassing in a place that’s both sacred and cursed anytime I walk these winding paths. A place that remembers her, even when I desperately want to forget. Selene loved this garden. Day after day, she poured her soul into every flower bed, every trellis, every meticulous pruned hedge. This was her baby, her escape. It made the library look like something out of a fairy tale, with a feather-like couch by the side of a shelf, perfectly facing the garden. I loved reading books; it had been my only way to pass time before truly falling in love with it. But seeing this garden, it felt like I had found another thing I love.

Then , we went towards the garden . The garden is filled with flowers of anemone ; it has many shades of flowers. It's pleasing to the eyes. There was a pergola , which was vertical pillars on the sideways are covered with wild vines . At the end of pergola , there was gazebo , a shadowed place which was built for tea session . June is already here in the gazebo .

He comes back a few minutes later with a smile on his face and a book in his hands. “Here, for your troubles.” I glance at the title, “Beginner’s Guide to professional gardening.” I accept it with a half-hearted glare and say through clenched teeth, “Gee, thanks.”

But I was feeling tipsy, and something about him just made me want to say yes. As I took his hand, he guided me through the winding corridors of his home, leading me to a hidden back door that I hadn't noticed before. We stepped out into a breathtakingly beautiful garden, a vibrant oasis that took my breath away. The garden was a kaleidoscope of colors, with every imaginable hue of flower blooming in harmony. Lush vines cascaded over an intricate network of arches, trellises, and fencing, creating a sense of enchantment that surrounded us on all sides.

Maybe I can divert my attention or so. I remember... Mother has her green hands, why not me… right? Although I haven't taken care of a plant with my help alone. I want to try new things to release me from boredom. Almost all the books in Gavin's library are academical. Thankfully there are some hidden gems left hiding but still I am glad I find some .
