With another loud growl, the black wolf’s claws went into the underbelly of the grey wolf, and then he was torn apart from the inside out, the flesh, blood, and intestines all coming out, covering the black wolf. Faces elongating into muzzles filled with sharp teeth. Within seconds, two massive wolves stand where Adrian and Lizzy were. Adrian's wolf is larger, his fur a silvery grey that seems to glow in the moonlight. His eyes remain that burning red, fixed on Lizzy with dangerous intent. Lizzy's wolf is smaller but leaner, built for speed. Her grey eyes have turned yellow, filled with rage. They circle each other, growling. The sound reverberates through my bones. I'm still bound on the ground, helpless to do anything but watch.

I slowly walked up to her so not to scare her. She hugged me when I reached her and I sighed in contentment. My wolf couldn't wait until she had shifted and we could run together in the forest.
