The young woman behind the counter smiled pleasantly. "How can I help you?" "I am looking for a guest," I said, keeping my voice calm. "Her name is Beatrice. I am not sure of her last name, but she is in her fifties, slim, always very elegant." The woman's smile didn't waver, but her eyes became guarded. "I am sorry, ma'am, but we can't give out information about our guests. Privacy policy." "I understand, but this is important. She is an old family friend, and I just saw her, but I lost track of her in the gardens. I just want to reconnect."

Margareth POV "Excuse me, Miss. Mandy. I'd like to meet the CEO. Is he busy?" I bravely approached the secretary and uttered my true purpose in the office. "Let me check after you fill this guest book." The straight hair woman with fascinating visual uttered and gave the guest book to me along with the blue pen. I nodded and filled out the data in the guest book carefully. Once I had finished, I returned it to her by saying, "Here it is."

Greta and Gabby made their way to Page Turner’s Bookstore just down the street from the Blue Moon Inn. Once inside the warmth of the large shop, Greta was surprised to see a bright modern shop, which included not only a metaphysical section, but my children’s section, too. With soft upbeat music playing in the background, it didn’t take long to find the shopkeeper chatting away to a rather wild looking dog by a fireplace.

The receptionist behind the desk beamed as she welcomed the guests. "I'll like to book any room available, please?" "Sure!" The lady typed on the computer behind the desk before staring back at the guest. "We have a room left but it's non exclusive" "Okay!" Skylar took out her black card from her pocket, handing it over to the lady. "How long would you be staying?" "A week" Skylar finger tapped on the counter as she waited patiently, the lady returned the card, a receipt and a key a few minutes later.

she cried. "Hart,can't firewall prevent hacker?" he turned to Hart "I don't know, boss" Hart bowed lightly. "So are you telling me there is no record of your guests?" he questioned with his face full of doubts. "We use the register" she pointed back to the counter. "Good, bring it for me" he said calmly. The attendant brought him the register and he looked through it. "There are supposed to be fourteen guests with you making fifteen. That means two of you are missing" he sought her to explain the mystery.

✿♡ JAZZLENE ♡✿ I STOOD AT THE FRONT DESK, my fingers trembling slightly as I tapped on the keyboard, searching desperately for the reservation. The couple in front of us looked increasingly impatient, and the woman’s face was turning a deep shade of red. She was yelling, her voice echoing across the huge lobby and drawing stares from other guests.

She knew, she'll be alive once again after this city will accept her. The cab finally reached the hostel and she paid the driver. The old building which had maximum three floors looked full of busy girls. There were several creepers around the building whose branches were covering the most of the structure, making it look green everywhere. There was a small lawn at the front where girls were sitting on the grass. And finally a large metal gate was in front of her which boldly presented the name of place in metal carved figures "Gilmore Girls Hostel". As she stepped closer to the gate, a warning was nailed into the wall, which had something written in red.

“What been asked, shall be done. Please do, Sir. As long as I don’t need to put my own life on the stake, the pleasure is mine.” Pulling over the visitor book from the girl’s hand, and as well the pen, writing down his name and identity based on the format, “Ms. Fidget … where is she? Have you seen her today, by any case?” He then handed over the filled visitor book to the receptionist, with his name written on it, Mr. Maximus. The girl left the question answered by silence as she was checking the data provided by Mr. Maximus. Feeling that it was all good and filled properly, except for the address that he filled only by ‘Shore Side Pub’, the girl closed the book.

She noticed the flirty glances from the men, accompanied by jealous gazes from their companions. The hotel staff, dressed in black and white uniforms, sat at the front desk with a book containing the list of those people invited to the event. Once a person handed in their card, the staff counterchecked that with their list and crossed the name out before allowing the guest to proceed to the venue. Each invited guest could bring one companion. No more. Anna discovered a major problem. She didn’t have an invitation, and Liam already had Melisa as his companion. He really played his cards well. What was she going to do now?

He signed his name with a flourish and returned the book to the cook. Hank accepted it almost reverently. “That’s awfully good of ya, sir.” He looked at the book with a grin and then said, “You come back through anytime ya want. Dinner’s on the house.” He nodded, tucked the book under his arm and moved toward his other guests. And in that abandoned diner, Gavin was still reminiscing on the memory when his eyes fell on the hardcover book sitting on the empty front counter. *** His heart stuttered. It wasn’t really a book.
