Crestfall High

Crestfall High

She looked up as we crashed onto the marble floor, her eyes—one gold, one silver—studying us with interest. "Well," she said, her voice like music and thunder combined. "This is unexpected. Escaped prisoners, a dying human, a guilt-ridden fledgling vampire, and—" Her mismatched eyes fixed on me. "—the little witch who opened the door. How fascinating." She set down her quill and stood, moving with a grace that made it clear she was something far more than human. "Welcome," she said, spreading her arms, "to the Library of Lost Deeds. I am the Librarian. And you, my unexpected guests, have a choice to make."

Iridian

Every time this creature moved, it’s bones grinded and clattered together. I wrinkled my nose at the thing when that musty smell wafted past, clinging to the creature that stalked the aisles. Its eyes were covered in a milky film. It was different from the way Abel’s eyes looked at Castle Mist. The Librarians were clearly blind, and clutched in its gnarled fingers were books. Helena and I locked eyes, and seemed to have a similar idea. We needed to get away from the librarian. I hadn’t a clue how the library would lead us anywhere, but I was willing to work with baby steps.

Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.
Therese Dahlqvist
The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet

Arranged to Diablo Duraturo

I said, and she nodded. “Sometimes the biggest weapons, the strongest and deadliest are hidden in a library, Diablo.” She said, opening the door. The two of us walked inside and she nodded at the librarian. The woman did not even bother getting up. It was as if she was aware of our presence. She was aware of what we were here for. Maybe she was.

The Lost Alphas Daughter

The Lost Alphas Daughter

Dim, golden light illuminates narrow aisles, casting long shadows that twist and shift with each step. The library is silent, save for the soft rustle of turning pages and the occasional squeak of a trolley wheel as librarians glide between shelves like wraiths. Their movements are unnervingly silent, their faces impassive as they climb ladders to retrieve books or vanish into shadowy alcoves. The atmosphere presses down on me, a solemn reminder of the knowledge stored here and the secrets it might hold.

Curse of the Wolves

Curse of the Wolves

If it weren’t for Orion’s hand clasped gently over my mouth, I would have screamed. Standing before me was a being not of this world, it’s limbs stretched to the point of breaking, hidden beneath a stained, molded cloak the color of papyrus. It’s face was misshapen and wrinkled, and where it’s eyes should’ve been were two gaping sockets of swirling, churning darkness. It was a Librarian, and it knew we were here.

Absolutely love this book, couldn't put it down. I've honestly read it more than once haha. Any chance I can buy it in paperback? This is a great book, give it a chance you won't be disappointed. Love the characters, love the book, love it!

I love this story so much that I kept reading, not realizing it was already four in the morning, and I had to wake up to take my kids to school at 7. every story by this author is beautifully written and addictive, but I love the humor and the strong female character in this story the most.

Forced Marriage with the Mafia King

Forced Marriage with the Mafia King

I stand by the window casting my gaze outside, the whole mansion is swarming with his men, they takes turns in securing the house even when he is off on duty. I stepped out of the room, Boredom written all over my face, I had just finished the last chapter of a book I was reading and I needed to keep myself busy. Not until recent did I find out that we had a library at home, One of things he had done in the past few days was inform me about the library in the second room in the corridor basically guarded by what seems to be an invisible door. I have walked past that place several times but I never noticed it. The door was like a wall, no handle, no pin, nothing. All I had to do was place my

Dragon Prince's Heart

Dragon Prince's Heart

She then hurried over and disappeared between the shelves. Astrid looked around casually, looking at the bookshelves. She smiled when she passed other visitors. She occasionally picked up books, opened a few sheets, put them back, and went to the next shelf. Slowly, Astrid approached the shelf at the end, where the librarian located the books about dragons. A man was standing and appeared to be reading while standing. The man did not glance at Astrid and turned his back to Astrid. When Astrid passed, the man seemed to be muttering to himself in a voice so low that only Astrid could hear him.

Geez, Sis. I cried. Why did Albus so cruel to separate Astrid and Draco? At first, I burst out laughing because I read that a dragon can drink beer, but after a while, my tears flowed without me realizing it. Well, It turns out that Astrid had fallen in love with the black dragon. Poor Astrid. Why?

Blessings From The Moon Goddess

Blessings From The Moon Goddess

, she said as she hurried away. Right from now, she had never seen a library as big as this, neither idea about a library with this length, this was just something else, books everywhere, authors she had seen and the ones she had not seen, it was impossible, a library that didn't have an end, ",Who's the keeper of this library?", Iranna asked Blanco, "It has been abandoned. ",he said blankly. An abandoned library in the school, was unheard of, no doubt. "So the idea is to find the Book on Good and Evil by Adolpha Asgorn. ", that was the name of the book, they were to find. "How are we supposed to find this book, any Witch or Lunar powers might actually come into handy.", Alec said, Eyes onto

No Longer His Invisible Luna

That’s all I was now. "Mother!" Lydia’s voice pierced the air. She swept into the room, her fur groomed to silken perfection, fourteen and already perfected in cruelty. She was reaching for the cream-colored scarf on the bookshelf—the expensive one, the one that smelled of night-blooming jasmine and glacial ice. Marga’s. She’d left it here last time. "Don’t touch that," I said.

"Other than you, no. wait, yes there was this guy I met, he said his name was Leo Alfred, I met him while I was going through the school's old records and newspapers in the library two days ago" "Really? What does he look like" She shakes her head trying to remember "He was just an ordinary high school student, well, he looked like it, but I haven't seen him before" "Guess we have a little digging to do" _______The school library is a place I know well, being invisible also means having a lot of free time on my hands, so I come here a lot, nobody gets the chance to disturb or bully you here. We went over to where our school records and stuff were kept, we look through our yearbook

I have read the first 3 chapters and it's kinda creepy, I was like what kind of girl is that XD. I'm giving you 5 stars because I feel you have potential, just needs a little correction. I love the humor, mystery, and thriller already. this is my kind of paranormal

Started to read this story. Had a hard time getting through the first part of it. There are many mistakes. It disrupts the flow. I'm sure it would be a good book however it definitely needs to be proofread and edited.
