The King Of Curses 소설 & 이야기

He asks, a wariness in his tone as I roll my eyes. “I’m keeping her from being used against me, yes.” I admit. “But not because you care for her?” He asks, needing more verification, which I find only pisses me off. “My only focus is to find a way to break this fucking curse and carry out my lycan king duties.” He furrows his brow and then shakes his head. “You and I both know the way to break the curse.” He says with a firm look, and I scoff.

I asked him. “Kekeke! Seemed like you didn't get the logic, Cerina. Demon kings’ curses are very different from vampire mages' curses. Just like graces, demon kings’ curses have physical forms...” He stopped for a moment and snapped his fingers, showing me something in my vision. A small violet-colored ball just materialized above his opened palm. And there's a floating fox sign inside it.

I am a special wolf, perhaps he needed a strong child as an heir. "What are you talking about?" My heart was pounding. "The King is cursed." "W.. what do you mean cursed?" I stammered. "He was cursed by a witch even before he was born, all thanks to his father who offended her." I totally regret buying you... I thought you were a curse breaker but you look cursed yourself. It was then it all began to make sense, but everything seemed too much to take in all at once. I sat back on the bed. "The King needed you to break his curse that is why he went extra mile to get you here." There was a deep frown on his face.

I muttered, answering his earlier question and he hummed. “But you should know a little bit especially about the Alpha King. He was my Dahlia's mate as well, wasn't he?" He questioned and I nodded slowly. “Yes he is" I muttered, making sure not to use past tense like he did and he definitely noticed but instead of saying anything, he smirked. “Well how strong is he? I heard he was cursed? Is he still cursed? I heard our blood could cure him" He murmured and I frowned. He knew more than I thought he did.

Thoughts were sweet but their own false hope still residing turning down the sweetness earlier Everyone knew, the curse wasn't healed? Why no one knew? The words spread , luna being impure creating the remorse in the members . But who would dare to speak it loud .Moreover , the clossness of Richard and Eliss happened to be oil in fire . Richard, whose name was forbidden was roaming in the palace in bright light, laughing and enjoying as if the shadows of past never lingered in the hall of palace . Stunned the very soul in the palace who knew, who he was.

“It almost makes me want to spare you.” Danial’s eyes narrowed, locking onto the Curse King. His voice, hoarse from the pain, barely managed to escape his lips. “Spare me? Don’t flatter yourself,” he spat, blood dribbling from his mouth. “You think you’re unstoppable… but I’m not finished yet.” The Curse King’s grin faded, replaced by a cold, calculating look. “Alright, boy,” he said, stepping forward, his presence filling the air with dread. “Let me show you why they call me the Curse King.”

Over to the next image, "He successfully defeated them with the swipe of his sword and sent them back into the dark abyss where they belonged" "But it was too late, as they had already cursed him. A powerful spell they said, one born from their sacrifice, swept over the king and consumed him. The king was therefore cursed never to have a child and for His kingdom to come to ruins in a raging, consuming flame once his time was up." In the next image, "The King travelled far and wide in an attempt to break this curse, but no one could help him. He studied day and night, prayed and practiced all sort of sorcery, but nothing could help him".

Prologue “Luther! You cannot do this to me!” Alpha King Luther Reeds stopped on his track, turning around to look at Katherine. His eyes burned in a fury. No one dares to utter his name. No one disrespects him. He is the Alpha King of the Northern Kingdom, and no one addresses him by name. No one. Not even his own mate. “You dared to utter my name?” he growled, as he stormed closer to her in the corridor of the second floor of the palace.

The seed had already been planted in his head, and nothing but the absolute truth would remove it. “Where did you find him?” he asked Micah. “He found us. We were looking for his trail northbound down the river when he just walked towards us,” Micah answered. “Did he say anything?” Had he told them about the curse? “He was off his head,” Micah said. “He kept saying that he was the king and then singing. We had to gag him on the way back. When we started questioning him in the cell, he kept repeating something about a blood moon. He smelled like a rogue, but I can’t be sure.”

I heard the queen some days ago say something about a curse concerning the king. “Elina, I…” “The midnight curse… I'm sure you've heard of it,” the blonde man said advancing…he looked serious, and I shook my head, not knowing what a midnight curse was “Santi, let's not trouble Elina… I'm sure she's tired,” Miguel said as if trying to stop the man, but he ignored Miguel. “It's a curse the king has, it gets stronger and deadly at midnight… right now, it's getting worse because his time is almost up” the man went on and explained, hearing him I grew afraid. What did he mean by the alpha's time was up? Was he dying?
