At one point, Lucifer lowered his face, his lips moving but no sound came out. Oh, Loss thought, I can't hear anymore. And maybe he did say the words because Lucifer's face was full blown alarm and panic. Struggling to move his hand in his pocket, Loss fished out the small Enoch coin, handing it to Lucifer with a shaking hand. Lucifer looked baffled, and they took Loss in, him sinking back into the bed or whatever it was that they were carrying him in. Loss closed his eyes, and finally let the nothingness take him.

Then, trying to not cry, I don the heavy bronze helmet; a little snug on my head. At least it is not too big. I walk away from Adrexa and head to the front door. I glance at everything around me one more time because I know this palace and the city will be destroyed by the Greeks and nothing will bring back the beauty and splendor of Troy again. I return my focus to my mission when I step into the foyer and open the enormous, ornate wooden double door. I need to find Braxius and then get the fuck out of here before all hell really breaks loose!

Chapter One The phone buzzes against my ear, and I already know what's coming. Sally's voice cuts through the morning air like a knife through butter. "Dabe, are you sure you packed everything?" Her tone is sharp, worried. "Your passport? Ticket? Phone charger? You can be very forgetful sometimes. Check everything before you leave the house." I roll my suitcase across the hardwood floor, the wheels making that familiar grinding sound. "I have everything, Mom," I say, letting the sarcasm drip from my words like honey.

Without another thought, I grabbed my bag and rushed out the door. By the time I finished all the tests at the hospital, two anxious hours had passed. Now, sitting in the doctor's office, I watched Dr. Ariston study my report with a grave expression. My pulse thudded in my ears. Ever since that silver injury that took away Annie—my wolf—my body had been fragile, weaker than before. Could it be that the silver's lingering toxins were still affecting me? Or worse, harming the pup inside me? A hundred dreadful possibilities raced through my mind in the span of seconds.

“I have to do this, no half measure.” --- Emily closed her eyes, pressing the shard to her heart. Silver‑blue moon magic blazed in her veins pushing back the shadow. But the shards lashed, seeking one pure soul. Pain blossomed across her chest. Alexander cried out. Caelen burst steel‑blades in shattering beams, holding back tendrils. Magic and metal collided, exploding. Emily screamed. But from the agony… acceptance. She poured love, memory, blood through the shards. The twilight around them rippled. The shards glowed… then broke.

The silver chains still hung on the wall from when we found her. She had been in a horrendous state, her wrists and ankles had been shackled with silver, she had lost a lot of weight so who ever had kidnapped her had also starved her, the clothes she was wearing were blood stained, ripped and hanging off her thin frame, blood slowly seeped out a deep wound in her arm, she was barely breathing, her eyes closed and only opened once as we freed her. Thankfully silver does not affect us and so it was easy to remove her restraints.

He put his hands in his pocket to remove his wallet but it wasn't there. He removed his phone from his pocket and checked all the pockets but he didn't find it and then realisation hit him. He forgot the wallet in the car. "Bambina I forgot the wallet in car let me go and grab it quickly. Just stay here and don't go anywhere" he said I mouthed 'okay' After he left. He left his phone with me and it started ringing and I saw it was Alex. I answered his phone. "Hello?" I asked "Alesa give the phone to Lorenzo" He said sternly

And after the guidance and information from the Monsters all of them move towards the next puzzle which is of level 2 and there they come across even more grandeur and royalty But this time they find themselves in a square like room which is made out of a very unusual kind of metal in which some unusual kind of glittering stones are also embedded which once again leaves them shocked as well as amazed
