I sat on a tiny velvet chair that groaned under my weight. I turned to Luna first. She was the heart of this team, but she was also the most protective. To get her on board, I needed to show her the shadows. "Luna, my little bird," I said, reaching out to take her small hand. "Have you seen how your Mommy’s eyes are like the winter sky lately? No sun? No stars? Just... grey?" Luna’s bottom lip trembled. She clutched a plush bunny to her chest. "Because of the Bad Man Alaric? The one who makes her sign the scary papers?"

What was the worst that could happen anyway? “En, continue,” He said, his voice coarse. His eyes were dark, and he was already looking angry. Olivia swallowed hard before she continued; she was a bit scared because she didn't know what she would say that could annoy him further, everything around him looked terrifying. “Another case is that you may have started developing fresh feelings of desire towards them; or maybe there is you have OCD.” She paused, awaiting his reaction Liam was staring at her sternly, “OCD??”

“Is it the witch again?" “No," Liam released a deep breath. His voice was low like he was already fed up with the conversation and he really was. Orion grins slightly as he nods, agreeing to Arwan’s words. The air tightens between them. No effort to ease into the conversation. He shoot every shadows he sees, while Luma keep generating them using a black tourmaline stone. “Wow” she said mockingly “I hope your magicules last.” As dark smoke comes out from her palms wrapping Lynx then throwing him against the wall. Lynx protection spell got broken making them exposed on Luma energy suction spell. Luma’s laugh echoed across the cave, like a witch successfully turned a child into a mouse. Thinking how being human weakens the once upon a time strong sentinels of the Moon and Sun. “I am still willing to be your Priestess you know” Luma said to Lynx “Just bow down to me, I will forgive you” she said pulling Lynx closer to her

Oliver Lya’s own little army sat in the waiting room as she underwent surgery. Everyone seemed to be glaring at someone. Liam and I continued with our silent argument through looks alone, Jade and Jason - Lya’s supposed cousins - were arguing about whose fault it was they hadn’t realized Lya was a wolf, Thom kept his eyes locked on them as he rocked Kai, silently begging them to be quiet, Anna and Trevor were still in a staring contest about his refusal to let her start warrior training, and Cody was curiously enough shooting daggers at Jade. Marjorie was the only one sitting quietly, observing everything.

“More than half the pack is gone.” The words hit me so hard I almost let go of her hand. More than half. I thought of the vision. The army. The things standing behind Lumian and Angelica. Then I thought of the map on Arthur’s desk. All those dots. All those missing wolves and vampires. While we had been sitting here, Lumian had been growing his power. My skin went cold, my mind trailing off, but I made myself keep listening. “We hardly saw Lumian,” Elara went on. “He stayed inside the pack house most of the time. And when we did see him, there was always an older woman with him.”

When she couldn’t see his back anymore, she offered a tiny wave at her beautiful home and started her journey to the Dark Shadow Pack. She heard the same sound she heard last night inside her father’s bedroom, she followed it keenly and was surprised to see an owl staring at her immensely, the owl flew in front of her, stopped, and lowered itself down. Alpha Ciandra couldn’t help but smile, “the birds love me.”

Later that evening … Lucy’s bedroom, after everyone has gone to rest or process alone The house had quieted. Elara was in her room sketching furiously. Marcus and Sloane had disappeared to the pool house. Chase was downstairs making calls to specialists… already organising second opinions. Ophelia knocked softly on Lucy’s door. “Come in.” Lucy sat on the edge of her bed, hands folded in her lap, staring at the floor. She looked small. Older than Ophelia had ever seen her. Ophelia closed the door behind her. Walked over. Sat beside her.

the lights went off in the lab, it was the time when they had to switch to the backup power. Olivia opened the pod first, she turned to pick the tranquilizer on the chair. his eyes flicked open , they were white, like that of the woman chanting spells, Olivia did'nt see his eyes, cuz the lights were out, and only the red emergency light was on, when she was about to touch him, his eyes glowed red, his wolf eyes, then it went back to it's beautiful shade of Chestnut-brown.
