When the small black ritual book with what looked like it had, some hand-painted a design on it and a few vials of mystery liquids that had landed safely across the grass of Megan’s older neighbor, Allison. Megan noticed the little black book with what looked like ritual writing all over it. The girl looked like she was ready for the lady to freak out but there was nothing. Sage was not use to that. Most people freak at any weapon, but the Wiccan book usually made people disappear fast.

- I told him. He nodded and pulled several books out from one of the stacks and set them in front of me. I opened the top book and ran my fingers over the runes in the title. It was beautifully written as if each word was drawn with love and attention to detail. Now that I looked at it, it reminded me of a combination of Norse and Old English. Nerrian pulled his chair closer and pointed to the first word, speaking it in my mind than out loud in Draygonian. With his help, I repeated the word over and over again until I perfected it.

At least, not yet. “Never mind. Is that a textbook or what?” I asked, in a curious tone as I glanced at the book which was the same size as my TRI course book. “Are you preparing for an exam?” “Are you kidding me?” he asked, letting out a laughing scoff. “An exam? Oh, please. This is a grimoire: a book that contains spells. I'm only with it now because I need to memorize a few spells that'll be needed in performing the ritual.”

Her entire body trembled as she clung tightly to me. By the time we finally reached the bridal chamber, she made another request. “Miss Shaw, can you stay here with me?” Sigh… She clearly hadn’t listened to a single word I explained earlier. “That’s not possible. I need to stay in the next room and perform the ritual. It’s the only way your fiancé will be able to respond to you.” I patiently explained the process to her once again. Vivian fell silent, but her body shook even harder. With her head lowered, she quietly walked into the bridal chamber alone.

Perhaps the words are readable only to me, unlike the other red book. This realization makes the whole thing even more ominous than before. "I guess it's only me who can read this one." "How convenient," she quips sarcastically again. I laugh at her joke and the eye roll she adds at the end, before looking down and feeling the pages. A rush of power pulses through my hands, and I take a deep breath. "I've realized the book is divided into two halves, in a way," I begin explaining to her. "The first part seems like a journal of some sort, and the second part holds things that look like incantations and rituals."

“I knew it. These spirit-summoning practices are all gimmicks.” As soon as she said that, the pencil that had dropped on the table suddenly started to move. Anette suddenly cried out, “What was that?! Who blew into my ear?” She turned expectantly to me and Sybille as if hoping we could offer an explanation. However, none of us did anything the entire time. After a while, the pen stood up vertically on its own and started to spin on an axis. All of us were horrified and broke out in a sweat. It contained rituals, spells, and objects that could keep various creatures like vampires, werewolves, energy shifters, etc. Eric had brought it about 400 years ago just to read it for fun.
