The Rogue King's Surrogate Novels & Stories

When Andros suggested that there could be someone working for the rogues among us, the first thing that came to my mind were the members of our Pack. “I’m not sure,” Andros answered. “As I told you, I don’t know anything about the rogue King. Aside from the forsaken amulet, I have no idea what else he is planning or thinking. All I know is that he has a lot of people helping him and it could be someone you would least expect.” Killian slowly nodded his head. “If he could have my mother work secretly for him, then he could have had another Alpha or Luna working secretly for him too.”

This caused me to frown at him for some reason. “You are a rogue. Why are you associating yourself with a pack?” He added and now I understand his first question. “Does she smell like a rogue to you?” Zurig suddenly chipped in and the rogue’s eyes suddenly went wide as he only realized it this moment. “Are you part of the rogue king nonsense?” I asked with the intend to make it come across as something I find stupid. He narrowed his eyes at me again and gave me a nod. “I am the rogue king!” He proclaimed and suddenly the pack burst out laughing at him. Zurig and I were the only ones that did not laugh. Since the pack saw Zurig was not laughing they stopped to laugh.

“You never told me that.” "I provided the Rogue King with the intelligence he needed to kill Nolan’s father, but I had not accounted for that bastard Rudolf. He survived and became the Alpha King. That was my miscalculation,” my father explained. “I’ve taken years to get back to this point. I will not fail again.” “But what about me? The Alpha King sent me out to kill his people. How could the Rogue King see me as an ally now?” I exclaimed. "The Rogue King has not forgotten that I helped him get revenge against Nolan’s father. He understands that we had to do things to not raise alarm with the Alpha King. An alliance with him still stands and with his backing you will have the leverage to ta

"We caught him and we need you to come with us." My frustration slowly faded into anger as I heard the word "rogue." Those damn rogues were always causing trouble, and it was my job as Alpha to take care of them. I quickly followed Michael out to where the rogue was being held. As soon as I saw the rogue, my blood boiled. He was struggling as they tied him up, his eyes wild with fear and desperation. But I felt no sympathy for him. He was a danger to our pack and he needed to be locked up.

"You're the Alpha's breeder. I was at that party, you know. So I saw the whole thing go down.” My stomach suddenly turned queasy. "You were there?" "My father's a council member. Rogers Bane" I made an ‘ah’ sound and she grinned. I had seen Councilman Rogers once or twice in the palace. He was a very severe looking man and strict too, for his daughter to… I eyed the metals on her face again and still couldn't fit the picture together. Rogers Bane must have his hands full then She rolled her eyes and continued talking. "It was absolutely boring gathering until you showed up and the King decided to completely ignore traditional protocols.”

I sit up straight. Great-aunt?! The title sounds like the joke of the century, and I laugh, somewhat bitterly. I am a man known by many yet entirely unknown. To some, I am simply Draco. Mostly, I am known by reputation– the faceless Rogue King, the mysterious land grabber, and many other names people whisper about. Here in the Serbia Empire, I am Aleksandr Kresnik III, King of Srebragrad Kingdom. The new Head of the Dragon Dynasty, and successor to the Serbia Empire throne.

“I know how your father got your family's wealth. I know about the major money heists that went unsolved by the police. I know that your dad was the mastermind behind the last one a few years back.” She froze. I saw something like fear pass in her eyes before she forced indifference onto her face. “All those things are baseless talk backed with no proof. What are you going to do? Go cry to the police or something?” I relaxed into my chair. Oh, I was going to love this. “I have proof, Sarah. Lots and lots of proof.” Her eyes widened when she realized I wasn't actually bluffing. My eyes hardened, and I glared at her. “I'm the rogue king. I don't do baseless talks.”

“You’ve saved the Rogue Queen twice. Gave up going back to your family on his word that they would not be harmed if you stayed. I can’t do what you’ve done but I can do this.” My eyes glassed over with tears, lacing my hand through her hair I pulled her face tightly into my chest. “I guess it’s my fault you’re so brave.” Exhaling deeply I looked up only to lock eyes with the King. Standing on a balcony, leaning against the wall smoking a cigar as he watched. Without breaking eye contact I jammed the needle deep in her neck and pressed the plunger down. Feeling her knees give way I quickly dislodged the needle and scooped her into my arms. I buried my face in her neck to hide the hot tears ru

It was quite small in my opinion and too degrading for a reputable hospital such as this one. “Alpha, after our conversation yesterday I've made all the necessary preparations and we can go to the lab when you're ready.” “In a minute,” I shook my head as my tone took on a slight edge. “I don't want just anyone as my surrogate because I'm not that desperate.” He nodded rather too quickly and I narrowed my eyes. “Of course Alpha, only the best for you and nothing else.” Even though I didn't trust his response, I decided to let it slide.

That was the world of the rogues, either you killed or you would be killed. And with him being the current King of the rogues, you won't imagine how many people had tried to kill him, wanting his throne. After all, to become a rogue King, you had to kill the current King and then you could take over. And well...Axel was the only Rogue King to survive this long without getting killed. After he killed the previous Rogue king as a young teenager, many had come for him thinking he was weak. Only to regret it as they faced his devil-like wolf and only their deaths. Nowadays not many even bothered to try to take him on from being scared to lose their lives.
