I sat on my bed and leaned on the headboard before taking a deep breath. I wasn’t being delusional. I saw it, I saw that his eyes turned red for a second. I just shook my head and tried to get it out of my head. I got the book that I borrowed from the library. I remembered that this book was from Zion, the one he said I’ll like. The main character was a female vampire who had just gotten off of her transition. I’ve read some pages and I stopped when I realized something. Some of the information was familiar to me. I went back to the other pages to read it again.

There was a door on the far side of the room which I assumed to be a bathroom. There was an archway on the far side of the room that appeared to lead to the kitchen and in the kitchen, I saw a large set of stairs that curled to the right, which probably led to the bedrooms and maybe another bathroom. “When Carter told me you were bringing back a human, I didn’t want it to be true.
