War of freedom.. War is inevitable

War of freedom.. War is inevitable

All eyes were again attentively focused on him, interest rekindled. “Good, my children. War ... well, war is kind of an argument. And it is called a dispute when two parties, i.e. two people, two families, two clans or even two peoples want to claim a certain cause for themselves without the intention of sharing it. Let us take an example: a farmer has a new cow that gives a lot of milk and therefore shares the milk with his neighbor. After a few days the neighbor comes and says that the cow actually belongs to him because it was grazing in his pasture. He demands it for himself and his family, while the cow gives enough milk for both families. Of course, the farmer doesn't see why he should

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

They were painting a path of life behind them, a thin, fragile trail of green and silver in a world that had forgotten its own color. The road to the Valley of the Sunstone was long, and the shadow of the Iron Guard loomed large. But as they walked, Liora realized something. The true war was not against men with weapons. It was against the silence, and their weapons were seeds, and songs, and hands willing to do the work. The color of silence was grey, but they were learning to paint with light.

The Fine Art of Misunderstanding

The Fine Art of Misunderstanding

"If Lily doesn't want to help me, then forget it. She doesn't trust that I'm capable enough. Lily must be worried about me…" I hurriedly waved my hands. "No, no, that's not it. I'm just worried about Matt. After all, that's—" Matt shoved me aside impatiently. "What's there to worry about? It's not my mom." I may be missing a screw, but I still had a conscience. I chased after them. "What if the practice surgery fails? I know I'm not in a position to say this, but that's still a human life." Matt rolled his eyes.

The Art Of Dying

The Art Of Dying

AXEL'S POV Dracula's war room was something pulled straight from a nightmare tactician's fever dream. The chamber was circular, vast, with walls covered in maps and charts and diagrams that seemed to shift and change when you weren't looking directly at them, like they had minds of their own. The ceiling disappeared into darkness so complete it felt like the void itself was watching us from above. And in the center of it all stood a massive three-dimensional projection—a holographic map of the entire Soul Recycle Program system, each world rendered in perfect detail, floating in space like miniature planets in a twisted solar system.

The Pack's Doctor

The Pack's Doctor

“I’ll be back in thirty minutes. I’m going to shower, then get my schedule and some books. Maybe we can look through them and see what's in store for us. Yorick and I spend the afternoon going through our schedule. “I’ve never considered war an art,” I say, looking at the class titles Art of War. “Many do though,” Yorick says, flipping through his book. “There are lots of books on it.” I'm sitting on the small couch in my room. He'd pulled up a chair, pulling my legs over his lap. As we’ve talked and gone through our course schedule, his fingers had been gently running up and down my legs, periodically rubbing my feet as we talk. At some point, he’d extended his legs to the couch and I start

I absolutely love The Pack’s … EVERYTHING! I’ve read every book so far and continue to search weekly to see when the next one comes out! I just love the entire storyline and hope that it continues on for a very long time! I’m so anxious to see the quads take over! lol

A Mother’s War

A Mother’s War

“Oh, an art gallery? Sonia gasped. “Of course, I'd love to check it out.” The housekeeper gave her a walk around the art gallery and Sonia was in awe. The room was colorful and she could resist touching the portraits. “Ma’am, please, do not touch.” the housekeeper warned. By evening, Austin got back home, the atmosphere of the house changed. Everyone ran to their various duties. “I hope they treated you nicely,” Austin asked, holding her by the waist as he led her to his room. Sonia nodded her head, “yes, they did.”

His Most Dangerous Addiction

His Most Dangerous Addiction

War did not begin with gunfire or blood the way most people imagined. Real wars started quietly, beneath conversations, beneath pressure, beneath decisions that looked harmless until everything around them collapsed at once. William understood that better than most people because he had spent years building empires in rooms where smiles mattered more than weapons and silence carried more danger than threats. But this was different from business wars. Business still followed rules, even when people pretended it did not. What he had stepped into now followed only one principle.

THE SUBSTITUTE MATE FOR THE ALPHA KING

THE SUBSTITUTE MATE FOR THE ALPHA KING

"But all dissonance yearns, eventually, for resolution. For peace. I am that peace. I am the end of the story." It raised its baton. The silent snowfall intensified, a blizzard of erasure. And I knew, with a cold certainty deeper than any I'd felt before, that this was not an enemy we could out-argue, out-love, or out-narrate. This was the end of all arguments, all loves, all narratives. The true war wasn't for territory, or reality, or even for our story. It was for the right to make noise.

The Life The Beginning

The Life The Beginning

"If you go down there with your face looking like that, as skittish as she is right now, she'd probably bolt." "What's wrong with my face?" "Never mind, what do you plan to do?" "What did I teach you about Sun Tzu?" "Ah, shit, no. You're not about to go Tony Montana on these people, are you? Because I gotta tell you, our town is too small for that shit." "The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting." "Coulda fooled me. Didn't you just bash somebody's face in like a week ago?" "There is no instance of a nation benefiting from prolonged warfare."

The Lost Angel: Pilgrims

The Lost Angel: Pilgrims

"If you are sitting in my place right now, you'll see how beautiful the collage of things in the timeline." "You own time," Elena said. "We are limited." "Time has a limit as it has beginnings too," he replied. "The good and bad only add color like black and white in a portrait." "You know your art," Elena commented. "But it would not help us win the war." "What is it with you people and wars?" "What?" "Why are you so worried of winning?" he asked. "Don't you know that all meanings came from the realization that all things started with beginnings and there would be some end?"
