The Wedding Dance Novels & Stories

"Sige. "Oh honey! Ang bait mo talaga! Mahal na mahal mo talaga ako, no?"

I chuckled when Glenn guided me to the center stage, swaying my body to dance. The lights were beautiful. The stars were shining above us, and the music behind us was playing in harmony. The Tagalog music that Ranger and Diezel played made it all perfect tonight. "Did you plan this all along?" I need to ask. I know Glenn had too much on his plate now, plus the wedding is fast approaching. The wedding will take place on the Island that I inherited from my parents in two days.

The woman introduced. Everyone clapped their hands so I did the same. Bumaba mula sa grand staircase who seems to be a family. He smiled towards the crowd which made the girls go crazy. The old woman extended her arms towards someone and that someone is my Auntie. Kumunot yung noo ko. Magkakilala ba sila?

He was also swaying his hips like an erotic dancer as he teasily bit his lower lip. Van was never a dancer—kahit nga noong first dance nila as husband and wife during their wedding reception, pilit na pilit pa ang sayaw nito.

The soft swish of their clothes mingles with the gentle strains of the music, creating a harmonious symphony that encapsulates the magic of the moment. "You look so lovely day by day, Cassandra..." She smiled as her eyes sparkled with joy. As the music carries them through the dance, the world outside the dance floor seems to disappear, leaving only the couple and the timeless rhythm they've found together. In this dance, they find solace, joy, and a profound connection—a shared journey set to the enchanting cadence of a slow, sweet melody.

“Distinguished guests, thank you all for taking time out of your busy schedules to attend the wedding of Mr. Raven and Ms. Zenaida. I now declare the wedding ceremony officially begun. Let us welcome the bride and groom.”

Ang host ng kaganapan ay masayang nagsalita sa mikropono: "And now, ladies and gentlemen, let us all give a round of applause for the new couple's First Dance!" Napatayo ako sa matinding taranta. First dance?!

I DO" Here's a poem inspired by the wedding scene: Sunlight streams through stained glass bright, A symphony of colors, pure delight. Two hearts entwined, a love so true, A promise whispered, "I do, I do." The church doors open, a radiant pair, Bride in white, groom with love to share. A sea of faces, joy in their eyes, As cheers erupt, reaching for the skies. "Congratulations!" the voices resound, As they walk hand in hand, love profound.

Kay sama tuloy ng tingin sa kaniya. Napabungisngis na sina Belle at Yeyet sa bangayan nilang dalawa. “Let us now witness the very first dance of the newlyweds.

“I need a macho dancers on Friday night.” “Para saan?” “Well… I have a colleague who’s getting married next month. Magkakaroon siya ng bridal shower. And I think having macho dancers will add spice to the party, right?” “Macho dancers, hmmm.” Tumango-tango ito.
