Rules We Break

Rules We Break

As we walked further, we realized there's different sections for each person with a wide space and desk. “Listen up. Kathy rules. One, key cards track your hours. Two, no guests without approval, three, whatever you shoot here belongs to Golden lens and four, you miss quota, you lose the space.” We listened carefully. Then he passed key cards to all of us. “These are all your cards for your studios. You own one each. That's the privilege of being winners. You all have the rest of the afternoon to get to know each other better.”

The proof reading for this novel is incredibly bad. The writing in general itself too also is very lethargic, it feels like it's written by primary going kid. I wanted to give the storyline some chance but honestly I could not due to incredible poor writing skills

Thirty Days

Thirty Days

I find myself staring at the pictures that adorn the walls, losing myself in the memories of our wedding day. “I can’t believe we have already been married three months,” I murmur softly. “I have a present for you,” Taylor says, reaching under the bed. “It was also one of the reasons I wanted to get you home today.” I look at Taylor in surprise. “A present, how come? You don’t need to buy me gifts.” I say. “I know, but this is something special. I wanted you to have this for the trial,” Taylor says earnestly as he holds out a small, beautifully wrapped box.

My rules are 1) You must not meet up with your ex both publicly and privately. I do not want to know how long you guys have been. 2) You are mine until the next four months. The third one would be delayed." he elucidated and went mute. "You won't ask for my rules?" I scoffed in disbelief.

Three Months Contract

Richmond greeted when the twain was done signing. "I'm sure you know there won't be any intimacy for these three months, Miss," Greg said. "Yes, definitely," She answered. "We only kiss when people are present." "What? Why?" She asked, looking at the lawyer and her boss at the same time. "For the conviction that we are lovers, what else?" He asked her. "I don't know," She answered, displaying an innocent look. "It's nice doing business with you, Giselle Jones," Greg smiled when the lawyer left his office.

Rule Three: Never fall in love with each other and never confess such. We were eight years old and we thought we were so smart making rules that would keep our friendship safe forever. But the thing is no rule can protect you from the inevitable so I ended up breaking two of them.

I replied. Min chuckled. “Okay. I won’t tease you anymore.” She finally said. I scoffed. “But three months have passed and you should know that you have the right to be in another relationship again.” She smiled. “Three month rule.” She whispered as she bid goodbye with other staffs. I followed her with a look. Just what is that anyway? I faced everyone who was still working. “You can have your lunch, guys!” I told them and everyone replied me a loud, “Yes, CEO!”
