I want to go back to my room. When entering the room, I locked my bedroom door tight and walked towards the window. I took a harsh breath of oxygen as if I didn't want to share it with anyone else. My chest was tight from running, and my wounds were stinging even more. But I can still hold on well. My eyes swept the view of the twilight outside of my window. The hills are visible, and the orange sky is also perfectly painted. The sun is almost half set. "I didn't do anything really, anyone who heard me. Trust me," I shouted.

My hand touched the soft fabric to pull away from the shields, but I became dumbfounded when there was nothing to be protected from, from the other side. The large gulp I took, subdued the scream that dared to break free from my body. I slowly took stealthy steps backward, but then I moved forward and traced my hand onto the wall where a window is supposed to be situated. Tears dripped from my eyes unconsciously as my stubborn hands kept on searching for the window hopelessly. They gave up their frantic search and replaced it with punches aimed at the unmovable wall. How is this possible? How did the window vanish itself? It's not possible to wipe out a whole window from a room! My room!

" My wolf said through the mind link. "Mind to go check out the situation," I said. "That would be cool." My wolf replied. I looked at the drip connected to my hand and also the wires of the machine connected to my heart. "Time to get rid of this," I muttered, removing the drip and the wires of the other machine. I looked at the door of the ward and knew I couldn't go out through the door without being spotted. The best option was to use the window. Thinking of this I climbed the open window and jumped down, landing gently.

I open my eyes to see Hayden sat eating again and look around the room and up at the windows “There’s no point looking for an escape route mutt, we have taken care of that” I continue looking and then see it, the highest window in the room is stained glass “Yes” I shout through the mind link, he was definitely coming to the right place.

Even if I were to miss the tree, I wouldn’t likely break anything, especially since we have large topiaries against the brick walls. I should be fine. I can do the only thing between me and freedom is a pane of glass and a simple screen. It’s worth the risk. Even if I fall, I’ll at least be free. The latch springs open easily. The window is stiff, but with a little force, it is soon open wide enough for me to slither through.
