Rosalie speaks again. “Take me!! I will admit to being a seductress witch and appease you with my blood shed but let my love go!!!” She yells. Is she still acting or did she say I was her love? Either way I’m elated. “Take my head but if you touch my eternal love, I will return my spirit to these holy lands and torture you until you beg me for death!!” I growl. And look to Rosalie who catches my gaze with a look of endearment in her eyes.

As she is distracted, I run a short distance away to shift and then race back with the red Rose bouquet I hid earlier and wait for her to turn around. When she turns, she freezes in shock and I give her a wolfy grin back, the roses held gently in my jaws. ** “Lydia, I have a question for you.” “Okay.” “On a hot summer night, would you offer your throat, to the wolf, with the red roses?” ** Her pupils dilate with lust and her breathing increases, she understands the meaning behind those words. This is my pledge to her, my eternal promise, to be hers for life as she is mine.

Then my door flies open aggressively and Felix is pulling off my sheets. "Hey!" I yell at him, tugging the sheets back but of course, it's no use. He's too fucking strong! "You need to wake up and prepare for tonight," He says, impatiently before grabbing my arm to make me sit up. I rub my eyes again, still sleepy but now I'm also annoyed. "It's hours away. Why can't I have one more hour?" Felix doesn't look happy with me but I'm too tired to care. "Because there's a lot to go through and if this doesn't go right, you will be killed, Rose! Or does that mean nothing to you?"

He held her tightly by the hand and pulled her out of the mansion but they were stunned for a moment when they met Stephen. "Stephen?" Bea's eyes seemed to widen in shock and she immediately let go of Aldrin's hand. "What are you doing here?" he asked the girl and even he couldn't believe that he would see the girl there. "Stephen, let me explain-" what he was about to say was immediately cut off when they suddenly heard the clinking of glasses from behind them. "Attention everyone!" Sofia said as she stood on the third floor of the stairs wearing a sleeveless maxi-dress with red hair and curly hair.

Rose has to fulfil her destiny so I and every other one of my kind can truly be free. When I have Rose Winter's body, I didn’t take away her scent and her voice. I left it so it could serve as a reminder of her old self. No one ever truly wants to change who they are entirely. I didn’t want her to forget who she was. But after I sent Jacob there, I realized that she was going to have to loose both. I was able to change her voice and scent by possessing the help. She was really helpful and Rose seems to spend a lot of time with her so it was easy to slip a potion in her drink.

How did it get there? Rain stared down at the rose she had found by her bedside the second the woke up. The scent drifting in the air and causing her to smile. It reminded her of her time in the cabin and Rain didn’t realize how much she missed waking up to the comforting scent of roses until this one was brought to her. Rain silently wondered with a smile, would they still let her go back to the cabin or did Alexander plan to have her stay in the mansion permanently?

I sit back and look at her confused. “What makes you think you’re walking her to school?” “It’s how I get her to school, Tyson.” She rolls her eyes at me. “The fuck was that?! No one rolls their eyes at us… we’re an alpha!” Zeus growls in my head, but then it changes to a purr, “But it’s Rose, she can roll her eyes all she wants.” Rose has this Alpha wolf wrapped around her finger and she doesn’t even know he exists yet. “Good to know you won’t punish our mate for rolling her eyes at us.”

Rose looks around the table with a mixture of shock and disgust and I see Damon's hand reaching hers, grounding her, helping her calm down. "We apologize to you, oh, glorious Priestess, that we are in no rush to join a war that is not yet at our doorstep." Alpha Michael snarls. I don't realize when I get up, growling. But I do realize I am not the only one. "There is no need for this." Rose throws both me and Damon a warning glance. But there's something in her voice that makes me turn around and look at her. Something cold, like I never heard from her before. Damon looks surprised too, but after a second he smiles, like he knows what's coming. He doesn't sit back down, just waits.

‘And why is that a problem? And I felt like punching her stupid face. ‘Goddess blast it, Rola! I’ve told you a million times—.’ ‘Yes! It felt like millions of full moons too! Rose is out to search for her mate. Yes, I remember you said that if she wasn’t back by a certain hour then it means she’s found one.’ ‘And that’s not a problem?!’ I’m halfway through bursting out her stupid skull. ‘SHE’S YOUR BLASTED MATE!’ Shouted Rola. ‘We’ve been at this for eight nights!’
