Women had it easy, the ugly looking man thought. They just had to open their legs wide and they could get free meals. They only had to stay docile within their caged thrones as consequence. Men like him had to lie, steal, kill and bleed to have a chance at life in these wastelands. Equality was a dream of fools. It does not exist. At least, not in this world. "It's an ugly world. If you’re below eighteen, you should not read these books as they feature a lot of violence, gore and sex. If you’re a fan of fantasy series with werewolves, demons, vampires, witches, gods and whatnot, you can read THE WICKED GAMES, which is the first in the series called The Spirileaxus Saga. Unfortunately, none of the books in this series is standalone, so you have to read them in chronological order. You can also go for CURSED BLESSINGS. Again, this is book one in the series The Blessed Ones.

I was just focused on the book I was reading, pretending not to hear them. “Hey ugly,” one of them called out. “Hope you are not planning to show up tonight.” I pushed back my glasses that were falling off my nose and continued reading. One of them walked to my desk, grabbed my book and dropped it to the floor. “You don't ignore beauty like us.” She said, titling her head smugly. She continued “have you gotten a prom date? Oops, I forgot. Nobody will want an ugly duckling like you to be their date.”

The words seemed to leap off the page, filling the room with an eerie sense of foreboding. Everything written in the book didn't make any sense to either Stella or Morgan. They found everything in the book quite absurd. The book spoke of witches, dragons, angels, vampires, and the devil. They didn't believe in such a thing at all, weren't they just fantasy? If they were to interpret it, it only meant that Grandma Elizabeth was a witch while the stranger guy whom Stella had picked from the streets the previous night was the devil.

“Millennia ago, in the midst of a war among species, many creatures sought to conquer and rule the world for themselves. Among them were horrific beings who desired only darkness and shadow. These beings dwelled in the deepest abysses of the earth, without a ruler to restrain them. Wolves, witches, and vampires, recognizing the imminent danger, decided to unite in a unanimous pact before the rift of the underworld. In an act of sacrifice, they abandoned their malicious and corrupted sides. They offered their blood, strength, and magic, using a pure shell as the vessel for that power. A…” I fell silent. The words in the book struck me like lightning, leaving me shaken and trembling at the rev

“Okay, girl. This place has a hierarchy.” Of course it did. She pointed around as we passed the long tables. “Wolves and bears sit together. Jocks. Alphas. That’s us now. Across from them, the goth kids, vampires, witches, shadowborn.” “Then there’s the nerd fae and the mages. Over there, that table with the arrogant hair flips? Dragons.” “And over there...” she lowered her voice, “that’s the incubus table.” I turned to look. And my soul left my body. A boy sat at the end of the far table. He had black hair like silk, and glowing blue eyes that practically lit the room. Sharp cheekbones. Sculpted lips. Small horns peeked through his messy hair.

He turned around and tilted his head. "Thank You." Her smile was small but filled with gratitude. "You're welcome and you can call me Azraiel." He watched her nod her head and left the medical wing with the brightest smile on his face. Alone in the room, Charlotte moved on the bed a little to lift the books he had left. She put them on the unoccupied space on the bed and lifted the first one to read the title. A small smile crept on her face as she read the title. "Basics of the Werewolf World" was a fifty-page introduction book for children at the Orchid Primary School at the Blue Orchid Pack. She leaned back and started reading about the new world she was going to be in for the rest of her

They are wearing black uniforms and a mask just like for bandits. A man wearing a black suit whispered a spell and one by one the corpse started to burn. The sound of burning corpses is loud just like the heartbeat of the children witnessed the brutality. Elise froze after seeing everything. She can't breathe. The air is suffocating and the pain in her heart is excruciating. She did not cry but once again, she was reminded. Why she hated the book “The Lazy Lucky Princess”. "Hell." That night terror begins.
