Fire Chronicles

Fire Chronicles

adds Laryn. We're flying low trying to avoid military's radar. We're sure random human phone calls are alerting the government to our presence but they will be scrambling to figure out if it's a hoax. Calls of three large dragons; one red, one blue, and one silver will give us some time. "We need to head back," shouts Tahr, "I have no mental connection with Pepper." I try to contact Acasia too and feel the lack of connection. We turn back. Somehow I know we're too late. Ten minutes out, that's all, and it's too long to change fate.

Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

He kept the umbrella low over his head as he trudged up the driveway. Leesa opened the door before the professor could ring the bell. He stepped inside, holding the umbrella out the door and shaking the water off before pulling it closed and depositing it in a black and gold ceramic umbrella holder. Another thing most people didn't have in San Diego, Leesa thought— umbrella holders. They were pretty handy here in New England, though. She introduced Professor Clerval to her aunt and uncle, and they all shook hands. “Beautiful night to take in the park, eh, Professor?” Uncle Roger said, smiling.

Boys of RDA

Boys of RDA

Pink polka-dot umbrella in hand, I'm ready for the weather this morning. My brother said he hasn't seen this much rain in June since he moved here when I was eighteen. Here we are, six years later and I seem to be attracting storm clouds. Twice in one week, it has to be a new record. Thunder woke me before my alarm this morning and I spent the extra time searching for my rain boots. By a stroke of luck, they match my new umbrella almost as if I'd made a coordinated effort.

How I Met My Wife.

How I Met My Wife.

Set it on the kitchen counter, next to the sunscreen, next to the coffee cup I still had, next to the small white sticky notes I'd started collecting from him like a small sad museum of -A. I unzipped the umbrella. It was a normal black umbrella. The inside had a small leather tag with a name engraved. A. Black. Of course. Of course. I lifted the umbrella to my face. I don't know why. I think I had a reason. I think the reason was: I have done every other strange thing in the last six weeks, and one more is not going to kill me.

Chronicles on the Non-reality

Chronicles on the Non-reality

I found it she answered honestly in my room. Harper considered it seemingly in deep thought then said I’m not sure if any cyclops even still live or where to find one if they do I have only heard rumors so far. Well what are the rumors emery asked? I’ve heard there is one in the redwood forest but no one I knows been in those woods in a century. They lay beyond our kingdom and even out of reach of the tyrant who comes for you.

The Shambala Chronicles

The Shambala Chronicles

"Excellent! Did you say a talking swan? So Shambala does have mystical creatures." "Yeah, we had a very meaningful conversation. Where were you?" Anbir repeated his question. "I was site seeing", Rudra smiled recalling his day with Toshani. "All by yourself?" "Kind of. It's a lovely city," Rudra replied almost to himself. Anbir shook his head and went back to his massage. He had swum for hours and his every muscle was aching, though the reward was worth it. ********** Bhairav walked into the citadel library. Casting back his black hood, he laid a huge dusty bundle of parchments on the desk and ran his hand over the leather cover murmuring in Sanskrit.

Bloodmoon Chronicles

Bloodmoon Chronicles

It came by once in a thousand years, and was very very rare to find the chosen seed that had it. There it was with her sister. There was the crescent moon symbol on her shoulder. She was the chosen one, she was born under the eclipsing moon. She clenched her fists and stopped midway. "Do you want to kill me still?" Nova asked her. She found it weird that she could read her thoughts without any difficulties. It was always hard for her to read her grandmother's, nor that of the man with the crimson eyes she had seen that night. Watching her sister lost in thoughts, she was always quick to grasp whatever it was she said to herself.

Where Do We Belong?

Where Do We Belong?

Then smiling from ear to ear Jill and Brian said in perfect unison that once the sky is filled with darkness the fun can begin. “I don’t think I want any part of what that fun is.” Dylan said. “I don’t think I even want to know what that fun is.” Noah replied. Just then the building began to shake and Brian appeared, ordering mandatory evacuation so he could prepare for the storm. He made sure everyone went outside with an umbrella. These weren’t regular umbrellas though; like everything else in this realm they were of the highest technology. Metal umbrellas with built in protective shields and transparent tops. So everyone could watch a storm safely.

Luna of the Menae

Luna of the Menae

I tilt my head and look at the umbrella, still trying to understand. “No, dear girl. A harness. When you open the umbrella, there is a pocket dimension being held inside by a harness. There are no portals to pass through.” He drums his fingers on the table. “There’s a bit of plutonium in the handle to power it, which is why it’s so heavy.” “You brought an atomic weapon into the packhouse?” Reggie moves his chair back. “Hephaestus, are you kidding us?” “Cool your jets. It’s not weaponized, Reggie.” Heph rolls his eyes and shakes his head. “And it’s coated in lead, so it can’t leak.”

This story was “ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL”!! I love love loved it!! So well written & very descriptive!! The characters had such depth! My favourite characters were Bronx and Kas(Iokaste), of course!! They went through “SO” much, but made it through!!
Sarah Geer
Love this book and this author. She has found a way to write two books that seem like completely different stories but then happen to intertwine at an unexpected point. Ever chapter she posts leaves me wanting more. I can’t wait to continue reading this series!
