“I don’t mind being your pet.” The corner of Lina’s lip curved as she clicked her tongue. “You’re disgustingly sleazy.” He threw his head laughing, clearly not bothered with her answer. “I think I already answered this one. No, we don’t just shift during the full moon. If our wolf is strong, we can shift even if it’s not a full moon but those young wolves needed the help of the full moon to shift. However, as they grew older and their wolf grew stronger, a full moon wasn’t necessary to shift.”

I'm here again, on the night of the full moon. The night when all of my misery happens and this time, I'm afraid that something might mess up again this time and I don't want that to happen. Instead of being happy every time the full moon will rise, I'm hiding to the problem that might chase me again and to the curse that might hunt me even in my sleep. They're waiting for this night to come yet I'm hiding from it like a coward- a kitten that's so afraid of monsters and tigers. I am a self-proclaimed tigress yet I'm being such a pussy just because of a damn full moon.

Needed the Alpha's permission to cut the pup from my dying flesh. Ninety-nine summons. Silence. The hundredth time, the bond stirred.

“Asher—” “We are werewolves,” he says calmly. “All of us.” The room tilts. “No,” I let out a short, disbelieving laugh. “That’s not—werewolves aren’t real.” “They are,” he says gently. “And so is the danger you’re in.” My thoughts scatter, scrambling for logic. “So what—you turn into wolves under a full moon? You expect me to believe that?” Asher doesn’t interrupt. He lets me spiral just enough before speaking again.

Two months later The threat of other witch covens still hovered over their heads. However, none had come. They hadn’t sniffed any evil women lurking around, but they knew danger could always be near.
