I can't tell if she means what she is saying, but I don't care. The conversation is over and done with, and I can start Christmas in peace. Aiden takes me home as snow surrounds the car.
"It's like the weather is congratulating us on finishing this dopey semester," Aiden says.
"No kidding. We should enjoy the snow together sometime."
"Yeah, we can do that. I like sledding and skiing. We can stick to sledding for your ankle."
