Hell fire was spraying up around her, she could destroy the world with what she was doing right now. And I raised my hands and chanted something completely different and just as she was about to direct the hell fire at me the heavens opened up and a bright light shone down on me and when I opened my eyes they were completely white and I directed that at the witch. My white light was pushing back her hellfire and as easy as it was for me to stand there using the heavens light and the moon goddess' powers she was having a lot of trouble holding the hellfire. It was a lot more unpredictable and I moved one step closer which pushed the hellfire back slightly.

As the first light of dawn peeked through, I saw Samuel. He was gone, turned into a ghost. His stubborn spirit had somehow tied me down too, like invisible chains I could not break. I wanted to get away, never to see him again, but I was stuck. He noticed me as well. His face, which had been ashen, suddenly lit up with an incredible glow. He blinked, tears streaming down his face. "Yocelyn!" He was so overwhelmed, moving to grab my hand.

Upon closer inspection, I saw a book spine glowing with my blue magic. The light vanished when I touched the book, and I read the title: Lupinotuum Encyclopaedia.

What was happening? Before she could react, a brilliant, golden light erupted from the book's spine, flooding the room with warmth and brightness. The air around her shimmered, filled with soft, glowing particles that floated like stars in the night. Selene gasped, her breath catching as the light intensified.
