PROLOGUE The chaos was just starting to worsen. The SODAIR kingdom, led by the Human King, King Gaber was getting endless challenges from the Viper King, King Morton from BESHADONNA kingdom. These two kings have been fighting a battle that their forefathers fought. Trying to survive, no one dared to negotiate since it only meant surrender. The viper kingdom is known to take humans captive to their territory. They are so cunning and clever, with the use of their belladonna flowers, they tend to take humans astray, promising Utopia but then giving them endless pain and suffering from slavery.

The landscape changes dramatically once we cross into Varelle. Gone are the silver forests and black-sand shores of Lyriah. Gone is the misty, dreamlike quality that made everything feel slightly unreal. Varelle is harsh. Unforgiving. Beautiful in a way that's sharp enough to cut. The Crystal Wastes stretch before us like a frozen ocean—endless dunes of sand that shimmer with embedded gemstones, throwing rainbow refractions in every direction. The sun here is different too. I whipped my head towards Maya one last time to make sure she was safe before bolting down with the sole purpose to attack that damn creature.
