"I'll feel better when we're out of here," Tyler said. We were locking up the villa when I felt a familiar tingling on the back of my neck. "Shit," Tyler said. She had felt it, too. My first thought was Athena, but it was a masculine voice that spoke. "Leaving so soon?" It was the heavily accented voice of Marcelle. We spun around to see not only Marcelle and his second in command Paolo, but five other Vampires as well.

She could practice fighting with her brother when he was free. She thought of going back. From afar she could sense three unknown vampires among her family. She increased her pace to reach the castle in time for dinner. When she opened the door to the dining room, she was very surprised to see three vampires staring at her. There was a woman who was of her mother's age and a girl who seemed older than her and beautiful and lastly a boy who seemed Kyson's age. He had blonde hair and sharp features and good-looking for his age. He seemed dangerous but Ingrid could not help but felt drawn towards him.

He smiled at Elijah. “Well, we met Zachary Taylor. He told us about his undying love for our mother and he directed us to another vampire named, Amelia Rodney,” Elijah made known, rolling his eyes when he spoke of Zachary's undying love for his mother. “He said we would find her in Golden-ville.”

A voice said, it had the same bass as the one that had just killed but it was a lot more authoritative. “That scent…” The blood-soaked vampire thought to itself, the man that had just spoken was a fellow vampire like him but this scent felt familiar. Stepping into the moonlight from the shadows, what came into light was a blonde-haired vampire with crimson-red eyes and a very attractive face. “I know you!” The vampire that killed Ethan blurted out but his calm expression was broken into one of fear.

The only fresh blood was Gabe’s. I nearly snicker when I see “Gabriel” walking down the alley. Really Buddy with a wig, make-up and a fake Viuda Negra vest that Mags sewed. From the angle and with it being dark though, he looks spot on. “That’s Gabriel Casillas and a couple of his pack members going in. That’s about when I got the call. I was probably there within ten minutes and in that time nobody else came or went,” I explain.

I run as fast as I can and feel a pang in my heart as I get further and further away from my mate. "Is my mate feeling it too?" I ask my wolf. "Yes," she says sadly. "Don't worry, Jenny. I'll find you another mate, someone who will truly love us. And I have an idea of who it is," I say hopefully. My wolf just nods and we sever the connection. "Oh no," I say anxiously. I sniff vampires. I'm alone. It will be harder for me to eliminate them. Finally, I reach a familiar place in the forest and then I see a vampire. He has black hair, pale skin, and red eyes.

His limbs were ripped from their sockets, torn apart piece by piece. “Ah,” I let out a sharp gasp watching the gruesome sight and then realizing it was no different from what Rowan wanted to do. This scene would be a ghastly feast for any vampire, a sight that was capable of satisfying their darkest and most depraved desires - blood. And yet, this was exactly the kind of slaughter that Rowan had been craving. “Are you alright?” Alpha Axel asked me suddenly, his eyes scanning my face. “Y-yes. I am,” came my reply, with an affirmative nod.

“Barbara… especially my husband. You understand, right? That Hugo—” Elder Brahma nodded in understanding. He patted the vampire woman's shoulder lightly. For whatever reason, the Elder's heart also felt anxious. Even this flight seemed a waste of time to him. Hugo and his lackeys could have been somewhere and planning something dangerous. However, it was imperative for the Brahma Elder to remain calm no matter what. He cannot be carried away and lose his mind. “Let's pray, Madame,” Elder Brahma said quietly. “Let's pray while the witches at headquarters do their job. Hopefully, once we get there, Hugo and Barbara's whereabouts have been found.”
