Inevitable as snow. ~~~

Even today, as we raced up the highway to the Christmas camp up north, and with a blizzard that brought sub-zero temperatures, my family once again left me behind at a deserted rest stop. I'd come out of the restroom to find that Ava and Jamie were scrambling to get back inside the SUV. Just as I was about to head over there, the SUV started moving, the snow crunching as the wheels rolled down the road. I immediately ran after the SUV, shouting with all my strength, "Mom! Dad! I'm not in the car yet!" But the snowstorm swallowed up my voice, and the SUV soon went around the corner, merging into the rushing traffic. Soon, it disappeared into the snowy blizzard.

She grabbed the remote and increased the volume just in time to hear his words in conjunction with a very gnarly looking satellite photo of the state of Colorado. “And if these two storm systems converge, ladies and gentlemen, we could see record high snowfalls over the next few days. I smiled and shook my head as I backed out of the driveway to head out of the pack territory. It was now almost December, and the ground was covered in snow, the Vermont landscape was a winter wonderland, trees and mountains layered in white. Throughout my time growing up in this area, I never tired of the changing seasons and all the unique sceneries they brought. I couldn’t decide if I enjoyed autumn or winter best. Both had a magical feeling to them.
