Si Larry ay mayroong tinatawag na Moonaustarsiscoma Colorein, isang visual disorder kung saan pabago-bago ang kanyang paningin. Siya ay mistulang bulag sa umaga at sa gabi lamang makakakita. Bihira ang naturang sakit at siya pa ang nagkaroon nito. Sa halip, kinakailangan muna niyang umabot ng 20 years old para sa inihandang alternative operation, kaya't mag-isa siyang ipinadala sa tinatawag na Pentagon. Ito ang natatanging pribadong pasilidad sa kalusugan na nagsisilbi lamang sa ganitong uri ng kondisyon at naging tirahan niya pansamantala.
