Lana reminds me of one of those boyish runway models, where Bree is a pinup girl. Bree is not the only one who has been having weird nightmares, though. Over the past year, I’ve been having terrifying nightmares too. It happens every few weeks. And every time it happens, I’m afraid that I’ll never wake up. It is the most terrifying of all. It always starts out the same…

I find myself sad about this and I can not figure out why. Dinner is finished and served and I retreat back to my room to wait until its times to clean up. I dose off due to lack of sleep and find myself dreaming of a huge white wolf with bright, light teal eyes and a moon on its forehead. I get woken up to a kick in the ribs. I scream out in pain and look up to see Ryder standing above me. "Get up orphan you should of been down there cleaning 10 minutes ago!" He yells and walks out.

Isadora: The nightmare spits me awake. I jolt upright in bed, heart thundering, lungs choking on phantom smoke. For a moment I can still see it—the ruins, the crimson sky splitting apart, fire chasing me through endless halls. My skin burns like it remembers every lick of flame, every scream echoing down the walls. But the room is still. Quiet. Only the faint flicker of starlight spilling through the tall windows tells me I’m awake. I’m not alone.

Kamari I jolted awake with a scream, heaving air into my lungs. The dust particles slowly glided through the sunbeams in my window, glistening in the morning light as they floated down gently. Everything was still and quiet, Orion gazing at me snuggled up next to my leg as if I wasn’t just running for my life. I’ve had the same nightmare for two nights in a row. So real, yet it was just a dream. In it, I’m running in the same forest as before, this time looking for the glowing eyes that usually follow me, but I can’t see them, sense them.

Rylee Another night of nightmares. This time, worse than last night. I dream of Greenvale littered with corpses, rivers of blood flooding every inch of land I know. The familiar voice keeps repeating, "Full moon - wolfsbane -." I see myself standing at an altar in a blood-colored wedding dress, a woman covered in blood reaching out to me, asking me to walk with her. “Ah-” I wake up screaming from the nightmare. "Rylee, are you okay?" I hear Meg knocking on the door outside.

The nightmares hit almost as soon as I closed my eyes, so vivid that they felt real. In one, I was running through a forest and I could hear Lyra screaming my name, her voice echoing from every direction, but every time I reached out, her body dissolved into a shower of burning ashes. Then, the faces of my pack—children, elders, warriors—appeared with empty eye sockets, their flesh rotting away as they whispered, “You failed us, Alpha. The line ends with you.” A weight I couldn’t explain pressed down onto my chest, crushing the breath from my lungs. I bolted upright with a choked gasp.

Then a small smile tugs at his mouth. “You look well.” he says through his smile. Heat immediately creeps into my face. Gods. Why is that somehow worse than Rowan’s nonsense? “Thank you,” I mutter. A smug grin spreads across Rowan’s face. “Oh, that’s interesting.” Luca kicks him under the table so hard Rowan yelps. Halfway through somewhat peaceful breakfast, Lyra casually drops a bomb. “Don’t forget the bonfire tonight.” I freeze. “The what?” I ask.

In just a blink of an eye, the rogue wolf lunged forward, jaws gaping to rip the flesh from her neck. In a swift movement, she gasped and jolted upright, clutching at her throbbing neck. "What's the matter?" Kian asked, his brows furrowed as he noticed Lyra gasping for air. She took a moment to catch her breath before glancing at him, relieved that it was just another recurring nightmare that had woken her up in a cold sweat. Without fail, this happened every month like clockwork. However, this time it felt more real, perhaps because she had just escaped Ardan Woods alive.

I whimper at the taste of blood in my mouth making me feel sick knowing the source and what it likely means. “She didn’t mean it, I promise she didn’t,” Liliana cries while looking up at the wolf not afraid for herself, but me then I catch a glimpse of why. I whimper when my eyes find the Benji on the ground with his throat ripped apart making me tear my eyes away to look up at the large familiar wolf. “Raven?” His link connects to mine and my eyes widen not sure why I can hear him knowing I should only be able to hear my pack members.

) (voice echoed. No! I screamed out of bed from the same nightmare, gasping, craving for water. I held onto my cheek and pulled my hair backward. Ciara woke up suddenly in fear, she switched on the light beside her and held onto me. "what is wrong? You tremble, do you need water?" I nodded to her. "I will get you some," she hurried to my bedside to get water, but the jug was empty. "gosh, I'd just go downstairs to get some."
