Jack Williams said as he casually let himself into the office. What the fuvk is he doing here? Lawrence clenched within me. “You may leave,” Lawrence said to Miss Jones. Then he turned to his uncle with a smile, “Uncle Jack! What a surprise. You must be here for the meeting; you are quite early.” Jack Williams chuckled. ***** A few days later, Ethan and Alexander sat at the noisiest café near the office, talking as easily as ever. "You can't be serious," Alexander said, near-choking with laughter as Ethan related a particularly embarrassing childhood story. "I wish I were," Ethan said, smiling. "But no, my uncle actually made me wear that ridiculous suit to the fundraiser. I looked like a miniature mob boss." Uncle has also been super worried as he watched us crumble all over again, I have not been going to work because of Liam, I have been so stressed. Today marks 3 weeks Quinn has been gone. Julian stepped out of the car slowly and remained by it. I signalled at him to come. He looked around, as if searching for an escape plan. He pushed his hands into his pocket. “Who’s this?” Alejandro asked as he looked Julian over. “Julian. He's my nephew.” They exchanged glances and Tico smirked. “What are you now? A baby sitter?”
