Bishop’s right-hand man. The one who’d cornered Saint the night he died. He fired, bullets shattering the van’s windshield. I ducked, glass slicing across my cheek.

He snapped the neck of one killing him on the spot while the third one fled. The last one tried to attack me again as Rex was dealing with the other two and I backed up until my spine hit a tree, I fell stumbling back as the rouge approached.

Rex roared as he scrambled back to his feet and swung the crowbar toward Bastian's head again. I nodded and used both hands to grip his shirt as he held the gun in a ready-to-shoot position and continued to meet up with our friends. We made our way around to meet the other pirates who had been shooting at us. Rex told me to stay behind as he sneaked and attacked the two in the head. Both went down in a flash. Rex didn't want to kill any of them, which sometimes made me worried, but I trusted him with his decision. I've never seen Rex in action. Seeing him all commando and take on those pirates one by one makes him hella sexy. I'm so lucky to have him in my life.
