I scoffed, walking away, letting the weak bastard sink to the ground, holding his throat. “You look beautiful.” Mayu grinned as I stepped out the front door. She was similarly dressed but in a pale blue kimono. Hachiro was leaning against his car in a black suit. Apparently, he opted for western clothes instead of traditional clothes like us. But he looked good nonetheless. “As do you. I take it you’re driving Hachiro.” I commented.

Must be nice to have money. I reached then pressed the bell and waited. Jax opened the door suddenly and I felt my breath catch in my chest. I swallowed as I stared at the man. He looked good. His shirt was buttoned fully so I could see his chest, he had tucked it into a pair of casual pants and his hair was slightly wet. He had probably just gotten out of the shower. I thanked whatever spirit guide had told me to dress the way I did. I didn’t feel like some kind of clown now. I was glad I had taken the decision not to wear any makeup. With how casual he looked now, he would have gotten the wrong impression.

Chapter 3 The penthouse was bathed in the amber glow of a dozen recessed lights, the city skyline shimmering like a field of fallen diamonds beyond the glass. The guy pull down his sunglasses and his grey eyes look at Shizu. He is wearing a white tshirt on which he has covered himself with a green blazer which perfectly suited his white skin complexion. He had a piercing in his left ear. Looking at him Shizu instantly came to a conclusion that the guy is either mix breed or a foreigner.

The sharp click of Bentley’s polished shoes on the marble floors resounded through the towering halls of SGH, each step a deliberate assertion of authority. Dressed in a perfectly tailored midnight-black suit, his silhouette exuded power and authority. The crisp white shirt beneath his jacket was buttoned up neatly, and a silk burgundy tie added a bold, deliberate contrast.
