Revenge of the Hideous Lady

Revenge of the Hideous Lady

If Stanley Batton had fallen into its hands, he would undoubtedly be in grave danger… Xyla might also not be able to make it out alive. However, Xyla couldn’t understand what part of the things she said offended the nine-tailed fox. Outside, the winds continued to bellow… The wind scale was probably at level seven or eight. The car swayed from left to right as if it would topple over at any moment… Many trees by the road illuminated by the car lights were swaying wildly due to the wind. Various objects including glass on many tall buildings were sent flying into the air. They fell all over the place.

Tempting The Billioanire

Tempting The Billioanire

And Anna told them about Phoenix. She talked about the city with the particular affection of someone who had chosen to stay somewhere they had not chosen to begin in — the affection of ownership, of a place that was hers because she had made it hers rather than because she had been placed there. She talked about the light, which was different from Los Angeles light, more direct, less filtered. She talked about the studio she rented, a second-floor space in a building in central Phoenix with north-facing windows and a view of a street that changed throughout the day in ways she found endlessly interesting. She talked about the three clients she was genuinely interested in and the two she was

A Sacred Bond

A Sacred Bond

Phoenix said. Finally, Phoenix's strength returned, he stood, his dark blue eyes burning with anger, and the other wolf ran off. Despite his best efforts to rejoin the battle, Phoenix's pain intensified with each movement. When they were starting to draw near, stars became visible, and as Phoenix attempted to resist, darkness swiftly enveloped them.

The First Heir

The First Heir

Lights exploded from their bodies. As the rays of light gathered together, a flying phoenix soared to the sky above them. The fire phoenix was awe-inspiring as it looked down on the world. With a flap of its wings, gusts of winds swept across the oasis. The sand almost drowned the entire desert oasis. A clanging sounded above the floating city. Philip held tightly to the floating city, and the people of the ancient Heavenly Court were blown away by the wind. The fleet that was lined up neatly was in disarray now.

love this book...the way the writer builds up the characters most especially the ML..but i was wondering why would the ML have to endure such humiliations from his inlaws when he could just show them his real 'him' as well and the enormous power that he holds considering the status of his family...w

Dusk and Ice

Dusk and Ice

Dust began to rise again and with it were the fallen stones and bricks which had come loose when the hotel collapsed. I raised my hands to my face to protect myself from the stinging sands. It was blinding. The wind began to circulate, forming a whirlwind that moved everything in a circle. I felt Kayla's hands around me to protect from whatever sharp objects may be flying in the wind. I felt her cold breath against my cheek. "What the hell is she doing?" She whispered. Phoenix was also trying to protect herself. She reached out her hands and made a shield of fire to protect me and Kayla.

His Rogue

His Rogue

I thought it was because of the tiring ride, so I decided to take a short nap. Time skips... 'Hot. Why is everywhere so hot?'. I groaned from the heat and opened my eyes. I looked at Phoenix, who was humming along with the song playing on the radio, " Phoenix? Why is it so hot? did you turn on the heater?" I asked and fanned myself with my hands. Phoenix gave me a strange look, " What are talking about? The air conditioner is at the highest" he said. I pulled at the neck of my shirt, " then why is everywhere so hot?" I asked as the heat became a little unbearable.

he says while panting and still on my back. I collapse underneath trying to catch my breath. He moves to lie down on his back and drag me from my waist to curl himself on my naked and sweaty body. He sweeps my messy hair away from my face, kissing the top of my head. “You are beyond gorgeous even your hair is messy,” Phoenix says, pressing his nose on mine. His breathing is warming my face. “And you look hot when you’re naked and slick with sweat.” He smiles, kissing the tip of my nose. “I know why you like me because of my hotness.”

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

**** Meanwhile…outside Sundance… Gavin Daniels turned down the air conditioning in the rental car. The outside temperature, according to the Lexus XLV, hovered around one hundred degrees. Hot for anyone, except a Phoenix native used to seeing the mercury hit one hundred fifteen degrees regularly in the summer months. He appreciated the heat in Wyoming owed nothing to humidity. Hot and dry he could handle. Hot and wet made him want to peel his soggy skin from his bones.

As I look at my year in review, this author and book collection has been monumental in reigniting my hunger for reading. I can't track most of the books from this app easily for my year end count but in my heart this book means the most. I wish I could buy a printed version of each of these. .........

Love this well written book! Thoughts & emotions are conveyed beautifully! The author makes you feel like you know the characters intimately w/o being excessive or mundane. Hot & steamy w/o crude vulgarity! I wish we could give gems at the end of chapter but that’s the app, not the author’s fault.

Phoenix in the Fire

Phoenix in the Fire

Gold swallows hard, focusing on his painting. He started this artwork more than two weeks ago. The lack of time hinders him from painting it perfectly, though as stated, at least it's done. "This is Phoenix in the Fire." He tells everybody, still looking at his work. The portrait is greatly inspired by the polaroid picture he took the first night he and Kolya slept together. The canvas size is 38"W x 75"H, it's big and he can't believe that he's showing this to the public.
