The Alpha Protocol

The Alpha Protocol

I put on my harness, checked the knots I had with the Consortium wire had tied, and lifted my titanium roller on the rope. The wind suddenly rose. He came from the depths of the canyon, an angry, whistling up, driving the fine red sand into my eyes. “Come on, Jada!” Silas called over the radio, and the static noise sounded concerned. “The barometric pressure falls rapidly! This is a thermal upswing that is equal to in a fall wind reversed!”

Rising From the Ashes

Rising From the Ashes

I state, to no one in particular. "I know. We just have to hope that we don't lose any more of our engines otherwise we may have to crash-land." I start to begin calculations in my mind wondering if we'll be able to make our destination with two of our engines now gone. I take everything in account, from windspeed to torque. After finishing my calculations, I sigh a breath of relief know that we'll be ok. It's not idea, but possible.

TOO GOOD TO LEAVE TOO BAD TO STAY

TOO GOOD TO LEAVE TOO BAD TO STAY

The young worker scurried away in the direction of the kitchen to process Lana’s order. They escaped the storm and had a smooth flight, not experiencing turbulence or even slight thermal drifts as the gigantic flying vehicle glided effortlessly to Singer, Cartonica’s capital city. Even from over hundreds of feet away, Cameron could see the life present in the city; it had really developed over the years, and he wondered if he would still be able to find his way around the much more developed town.

Tehreem zehra
where there are too many chapters it is 1) Stockholm syndrome or 2) the writers drag the story deliberately to bring back the once wrong relationships, heart broken lovers, selfish and abusive husbands again. Somewhere they discourage the girls from seeking happiness and drift them back to the trap
Tracey Wijetunge
Would have been a good story and shorter if author didn’t screw up the plots. One minute they are dead then they are not. One minute they are married then just engaged such a big stuff up but then I guess it’s one way to rip you off.

Dominant & Submissive

Dominant & Submissive

Hmmm–I'd like to feel how rough it is beneath my tongue, my fingers against my face. "When you fly at night, you fly blind. You have to trust the instrumentation," he interrupts my erotic reverie. "How long will the flight be?" I manage breathlessly. I wasn't thinking about sex at all, no, no way. "Less than 3hour 42minutes, the wind is in our favor."

The Late Winds of Love

The Late Winds of Love

I felt my heart fill with love as I looked at Mavis' resolute profile. Richard watched us with a relieved look, tears glistening in his eyes. Nearby, Tyler giggled, full of innocent joy. The gentle mountain breeze brushed past us, carrying the scent of earth. In the distance, the mountains stood tall, shrouded in mist. We stood at the entrance to the village, basking in the warm sunlight. At that moment, happiness felt simple.

Lies And Betrayal

Lies And Betrayal

Ana, Linda, Isabella, and Julia exchanged animated whispers, their eyes constantly scanning the horizon. Then, a crescendo of sound grew from a distant hum—the unmistakable roar of engines, a sound that set hearts racing and smiles breaking across faces. Heartbeats raced, and grins spread across faces as the Gulfstream emerged from behind the hills, its sleek form cutting through the air with grace, a majestic spectacle against the darkening canvas of the sky.

Conceived under the moon

Conceived under the moon

she shouted over the roar of the wind. The wind carried them upward, the trees blurring as they rose. It wasn't a violent force—it felt more like being swept up in a gentle but unstoppable current. Alaric shielded Tonya with his body, ensuring she was safe as they ascended through the forest canopy. The swirling wind carried them higher, above the treetops, where the night sky opened up, and the stars sparkled overhead.

Feather Drifting in the Wind

Feather Drifting in the Wind

All it got her was his cold shoulder and his growing impatience, and then even more tenderness toward Florence. As if her pain was proof she was childish and worthless. Now, she was going to leave soon. The visa approval would come soon. None of this mattered anymore. Even arguing with him in the final moments felt pointless. The crowd pressed in as the photographer called for everyone to look at the camera. Boom! A deep, terrifying blast tore open above them. The crystal chandelier shook violently, then turned dark. The whole banquet hall started to shake. "Aaaah!" Screams, sobs, and the crashing sounds of falling objects swallowed everything around them in an instant.

Kissing The Wind

Kissing The Wind

The sun rays brought warmth on the sorrounding. It was a perfect morning if not due to a lone car's arrival. She peeked from the railing and her eyes blinked when she saw a girl around seventeen to eighteen years old, climbing down from the passenger door. A few seconds later, the driver's door opened and a woman whom face she recognized appeared. "Mama, I want to marry him!" the girl yelled while following Lady Geneva whose brows were creased in annoyance.

Rise After the Fall

Rise After the Fall

“Lily, do you have any wishes for the new year?” Perhaps my expression stood out too much in the middle of all the celebration. Daniel suddenly called my name. “I want a raise,” I said. My voice wasn’t loud, but everyone heard it. The room suddenly fell silent. People slowly turned to look at me. The smile on Daniel’s face disappeared. “What did you say?” He walked down from the stage. He tossed the microphone aside, and it let out a sharp screech. “Say it again.” He stopped in front of me.
