Wings Book Novels & Stories

"Each wing harbors unique wonders, and the chambers within are filled with ancient knowledge and artifacts." "How many wings are there?" I asked, the sound of my voice resonating in the expansive room, making me feel incredibly small. "There are four wings. North, East, South, and West. The North and East wings house the bed chambers. The Alpha King and his family reside in the North Wing. As guests, all of you will be in the East Wing." "The West Wing is comprised of our library, ballroom, great hall kitchens, and other rooms. We are currently in our South Wing," Liam continued, gesturing around us.

When His Wings Unfold Over Her Azel kissed her collarbone with a tenderness that felt almost unreal like centuries of longing were finally allowed to breathe. Each kiss was slow. Precise. Meant. Mara’s breath hitched again, and his wings flickered not fading this time, but spreading. Light shimmered through the room, soft gold and white, feathers like dusted glass. His wings unfurled fully behind him, arching over her in a protective curve that closed the world out. As if he were sheltering her from heaven and himself. She stared up at them, breathless. “I didn’t know they could look like that.”

“You already knew that didnt you?” “I never had confirmation, but the resemblance was undeniable. But the thing that really confirmed it for me was seeing you black wings. Only demons have black wings. Angels have white wings. I was curious what color yours would be. Mine were black, I assumed it was because I had chosen sides immediately but I wasn't sure about you. I thought maybe they would be some shade of gray.” He answered honestly.

With that, he slowly and dramatically brings his wings back out and walks over to the window. Enkeli had an urge to walk over to him and talk, but she knew that no one else could see him and it would look like she was crazy. Perhaps they would think she is really losing it and needs to be sent to a mental hospital for hallucinating. Her parents were already suspicious enough of her, she didn’t need to bring on more problems. She simply watched as the beautiful huge dark wings lifted him up. He flew out the window and they seemed to expand even further, encompassing his entire body. She walked over to look out the window, seeing the sunlight bounce off of his wings, giving it a slight shimmer

“West wing. Third floor. Section twelve. Look for the silver spine editions, Old World Ritual Compacts and Divine Bonding Theories.” Auren bowed slightly in thanks, turned, and padded away like some kind of sexy, barefoot academic god. The man moved like gravity didn’t fully apply to him. His wings were still out, tucked in loosely but massive and gorgeous, brushing bookshelves as he passed. Riven muttered under his breath, “Damn showoff,” but grinned like he meant the opposite. Kael just shook his head. “We’re in a throuple with a literal angel. What even is our life?”

Her wings fell back into her body, screaming. Covering my mouth, a sob wrecked through me. I had forgotten she would feel the pain, too. Too worried about watching Mortus breathe his last breaths. The warrior, his eyes solemn with pity, gently gathered her in his arms, picked her up. Her head leaned into his chest, gripping his uniform. “Leave me,” she cried again. Wings sprung forth from his body, shaking his head. His wings hummed in the pattern of a hummingbird and took flight to the palace.

My eyes watered just staring at them. He lifted up from me, placing his hands on his waist and trying to strike a pose. He looked majestic, like a god. "What do you think, huh? Wanna do it with my wings out? That's very kinky of you, Cross-" His wings fluttered with great winds- Wings… Two… wings? "Why do you have two?” A/N: I'm back.

I clear my throat, “Come on, Divina, bring those wings out.” She sighs in defeat and says, “Fine, but you stay over there.” She rolls her shoulders and takes a deep breath and I watch as her upper back ripples and the skin over her shoulder blades split open and her magnificent wings burst forth. This time there are no blue flames, just Divina and her silvery blue wings. I walk over to her and run my fingers over her wings, and she shivers in response and ruffles her feathers up and out effectively knocking me back a few feet.

For some reason I felt completely comfortable with June even though I had spent more time with Jenny. “Alright well maybe I can put your mind to ease. There are a few people in this world that realized a long time ago that the justice system could not help everyone. Too often the people that need help the most are the ones left to their own wits. Jenny and I grew up watching our mother getting hurt a lot. No one helped her, and eventually he killed her. We knew then that we would find a way to help others in her situation, so Clipped Wings was born.” June patiently explained to me.

She gradually extended her hand and brushed the feather of his wings. “They are…” “Beautiful, right?” He was so excited to show Evangeline her wings that he didn’t even let her finish. “Divine. I was going to say divine.” She met his gaze and smiled. He returned the smile and with a swish of wind the wings disappeared. “Though I have a problem. Every time I open them, they just make a hole on my shirts, like they are blades. Plus they look weird when they are packed. Any suggestion?” He questioned her, after taking a seat on the couch.
