A scroll appeared, floating before me, it opened in midair and a single prophecy was blazing across it:

I tore my gaze from the scroll and looked at her, desperate for answers she wasn’t ready to give. “What does it mean? ‘First Flame’? Why am I written in a prophecy that predates my birth?” My voice sounded foreign to me, thin and tight, like it belonged to someone drowning. “Why does it say I could burn the world down?”

Her warm, steady gaze never faltered, and I could feel the reassurance radiating from her. “You must embrace your destiny, not fear it,” she urged, taking a step closer to us. “The Sacred Flame is not just a weapon that can be used for power; it is also a symbol of hope and unity. With it in your hands, you will bring down Asmodeus and strike down those who wish to unleash hell on earth. This war will end, once and for all.” I took a deep breath, feeling the sinister aura and ominous weight of the prophecy lifting from my shoulders.

He was just standing in the sunlight, and Ravi squinted as he saw something gleaming in the man's hand. Ravi focused his vision further to ensure that the object the man held wasn't what he thought it was. The man's hand moved, still gazing, and Ravi's eyes widened when he could see clearly. Ravi froze, subconsciously gripping Raymond's wrist tightly. He saw a shimmering sword smeared with red liquid that was undoubtedly blood. But it didn't end there. Ravi froze further without realizing it, tightening his hold on Raymond's wrist as he observed the man's wings, which were white and almost identical to Raymond's. The wings flapped, and he flew away somewhere.

He took another deep breath and crossed to the center of the courtyard. Oliver stopped and studied the words which had been engraved into the polished black marble. They were meant to inspire others to greatness and to give hope, just as the fire of Prometheus was. But though fire can provide warmth and illumination, it could also bring about death and destruction and chaos. It was only in the choice of the beholder as to which outcome would be determined.
