THE SECOND WINTER SPIRIT One week after the first winter spirit had appeared to Elena she couldn't sleep as her thoughts wandered wide concerning what she had been told. Exhausted, she retired to bed, still lost in her thoughts. The next morning she headed to Gardiana where she found some fairies practicing their magic and asked if she could practice with them but they all said no, making Elena feel bad. The pale glow of the moon cast a haunting blue light across the snow as Chloe shivered against the bitter wind. She had no doubt the winter landscape would be a beautiful sight if it weren't for the fact she had been out in the freezing cold for hours.
