Alpha Rex.

Alpha Rex.

Ash whispered, “Divinity?” Isabella’s stomach dropped. “I’m not a god.” The silver gaze returned to her. Not yet. The ground seemed to tilt. Rex’s hand closed around hers. Firm, grounding. “Explain what you are.” The stranger studied him coolly. “I am a Warden.” “Of what?” Kael demanded. “Of thresholds.” Ash frowned. “Thresholds between what?” The Warden’s gaze drifted briefly toward the sky where faint cracks still shimmered like healing scars.

Forgotten by all but her pack but not visited since the end of the pack wars. The ground of the valley was sacred and any werewolf who stepped onto its land was protected, no other could enter. It was the safe haven for the community in times of war. The perfect spot for a home base. It was no surprise that her father had chosen it, to save as many numbers as possible. His conscience couldn’t take anymore loss of life. “Norman, you’re with me.” She broke from her thoughts at her father’s command and quickly came to his side as Norman made his way to them. Guardian of Ruin

Guardian of Ruin

A faint smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth before disappearing almost instantly. “It won’t last.” I hated how relieved that tiny expression made me feel. I crossed my arms. “Fine. Kael. Start talking.” The wind shifted between us, colder now. “You know the story they tell about the Guardians?” he asked. I nodded slowly. “They’re chosen to protect the balance between creation and ruin.” “That’s the version meant for children.” Something uneasy twisted in my stomach. “What’s the real version?” Kael’s gaze lifted to mine again. “The Guardians were never meant to destroy ruin,” he said quietly. “They were created to contain it.”

Shadow Wolves

Shadow Wolves

Their love for each other inspired unity and peace amongst their people while their tenacity and bravery was what drove them to protect their people. The sky was turning as the sun began to dip. Pastel oranges bled into soft blues as the shadows grew longer and darker, cutting across the frozen ground as pups raced home for dinner and the young maidens ushered the goats and chickens into their pens. Warriors stood above the mouths of the dens, eyes watching for trouble. A few left their posts to assist the older wolves with bringing in their animals or helping them to the den entrances so they could head into the warm darkness away from the cruel hand of winter. However, while the pack made

Gateway Trilogy Complete-Book 1,2,3

Gateway Trilogy Complete-Book 1,2,3

I said shaking my head, “Gateway? What, gateway? And what union?” “A gateway that passes between the worlds to this one; each world has hidden portals, and each gateway has guardians. The Weston’s are the guardians of the one near here. Not only are they guardians, but they are also our protectors.” She looked me in the eyes when she added, “Rayna, this cannot be repeated...not even to your friends. Do you understand?” I nodded my head slowly. All of what was said seems so unbelievable. “What Union?” I asked again sounding a little choked up. It was now beginning to make sense.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

And pointed directly at them. The ocean exploded. Massive waves rose around the Night Runner. The boat nearly flipped. Peanut screamed. The puppies barked. Ava grabbed the railing. Then Walter shouted: "HOLD ON!" The sea beneath them suddenly changed. Something moved below. Huge. Very huge. Following them. Then another pulse erupted from the tower. The Guardian roared. And charged again. Slamming into the monster. Buying them time. Just a little time. Then Thomas looked ahead.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

ALPHA'S HOSTAGE HEART

ALPHA'S HOSTAGE HEART

Alexei provided Silver Council's strongest sensors, but twenty silver wolves couldn't scan the US in 30 days to find one hidden device. "We must activate baby Katerina II's Guardian consciousness to use her city-wide sensing," Alexei said. The only one with enough range to find the device before the countdown is her." Sophie argued that "Baby Katerina II already sacrificed her personality to stop the twelve-city release. "You're not using her again." Alexei said, "She's not being used; she's being asked to fulfill her Guardian role." The Guardians defend werewolves from existential threats. This is their calling."

The Healer's Bond

The Healer's Bond

And from the far end of the pass, a new figure stepped forward. Taller than the others. Slower. Stronger. Its mask was carved into a smiling face. Its arms ended in jagged blades of solid ice. A cloak of black frost rippled behind it. The Sovereign’s Warden. Long hissed. “That one’s not like the rest.” “I noticed,” Steve growled. --- The Warden raised its arm—and a blast of ice surged from the cliffs, nearly catching Long mid-flight. She spun through the air, fire lashing behind her.
