It was like a never-ending cycle. With the twins' help, we could hack into the minister's timetable and found out he had a work trip scheduled at the end of the week. This would be our first opportunity to go after him undetected, as the minister was staying at a secluded resort at the top of a mountain in Sweden. I had flown my men out to capture him. While putting the library books up, I took the unmarked book and opened the cover to see if something was inside to help me figure out where the book went. The cover had nothing, so I flipped the page and saw it was a journal. The handwriting looked familiar as if I had seen it before. Flipping the pages, I skimmed the contents and saw that it discussed microchips. It was also about changed wolves. I took the book to the loft to find out if it was related to the same thing I wanted to create.

“It shows us evil creatures beyond the wolves ' understanding. Beings that skittered through the soil when power is being altered.” I frowned, trying to find a reason for calling the book absurd as Briony sprawled each page open. “And you think….this is what's happening?” Briony bit her lip before pressing into a thin certain page of the book as though she was more visual than us. “The great beast is missing.” She exclaimed, her statement making me more confused. “What is that?” I asked, my tone already trembling. “The beast found in page 119 of this book had only once escaped this book, which led to the ruining of an entire clan seven hundred years ago.” Briony's words stinging fear into my
