Its fur was pitch black, darker than the night itself, and it looked almost unnatural, like shadows clinging to its body. A foul smell filled the air around it. Rot. Decay. It was the sickening scent of something dead. My stomach turned as I stared at it. The wolf’s eyes glowed with a cruel, unnatural light, and the energy radiating from it felt heavy and suffocating, like pure anger given physical form.

I moaned as I got up slowly. I did not expect to doze. I smiled as Foxy huddled closer. I feel bothered with my weird dream just now. Who was that wolf? I stand and put my little fox on the ground as it happily munch on the beef jerky I gave him.

BLAGSH! Dust filled the air. Oliver coughed and cleared his view. The body of the fox lay lifelessly on the ground as its body started to turn into dust. After that, what was left was an odd-looking black ball. When he picked it up, he could still feel the lingering dark magic from the fox’s core.

William exclaimed, pointing at the enemy behind Foxie. In a second, the color of Foxie's eyes changed. It turned yellow and glowed like stars in the night, just like William's a while ago. The girl's sharp nails had sunk into the enemy's neck even before the opponent's fang landed on her shoulder. Foxie did it in front of and while facing William, not looking back at the opponent. The blood of the enemy runs down her long nails and into her fingers. Nothing on Foxie's body was different except her eyes and nails.

Foxy nodded and entered the battlefield with her weapon. Foxy fought the female commander and defeated her easily, as Philip expected. The maids were weaker in combat and fell into Philip’s hands without resistance. “This snake meat is a good source of nourishment. Even if we don’t eat it, we can sell it for a fortune.” Philip marveled at the sight of the carcasses. These monsters were very valuable. Foxy sighed as she had fulfilled her wish. She looked at Philip expectantly. “Thank you for helping me. I wouldn’t have defeated them so easily if not for you. Although Sienna, the culprit, is still at large, I’m very satisfied for now.”
