" Right okay, so as you now know we're Werewolves, as regular wolves we live in packs and we have an Alpha, the Alpha's wife is called his mate and mates are predestined by our Moon God and Goddess, they are basically the other half of our souls or our soulmates, you'd be able to scent your mate after you come of age and shift, if you are ever disloyal to your mate he or she would feel a stabbing pain in their chest and vice versa if your mate is disloyal to you, when you touch you'd feel what we call sparks, she would be the only person you would feel that with and your world would rotate around her once you meet her, Alpha mates are called Lunas' our Alpha is Teejan Woods and his mate is B

“There are 4 classes of wolves that are determined by strength, size, and aura power. The most powerful are Alpha’s. They are the leaders of packs. Next is Beta’s we assist, and a lot of them become guards or soldiers. Next is Gamma’s. They tend to run the pack day to day needs like organising the pack house. Some are even in charge of upholding pack traditions and helping all observe holidays. Finally, there are Omegas. They make up the bulk of the pack and do most of the everyday work like cooking, cleaning, farming, etc” “How do you determine a wolf’s aura power?” Willow asks. “We give off pulses of energy. Do you want to feel it?”. “Yes, please,” all three girls chime at once. I get them

Gabriel said. 'Moon, you knew this that you weren't a normal omega didn’t you?' Kimberly asked her wolf. 'Yes, I knew that I'm Alpha wolf. Not a normal omega. That's why my strength was more than others, but trust me, Kimberly, I had no idea about your family and lineage.' Moon said desperate to explain herself as she doesn't want Kimberly to misunderstand her. 'I understand. Is there something else you are hiding from me?' 'Kimberly, actually, I'm not supposed to tell you everything until you find on your own, but I'm just giving you a little hint. We are not just normal Alpha. '

"You can't? Aren't you just like them? I mean, from what I've learned so far, an Alpha is like a king." "I am only an Alpha on the outside, Arwa. A true Alpha has a wolf. A wolf is an important aspect of our life, but I don't have it. Or better yet, I've never shifted." "Why?" she asked softly, inching a bit closer to me. I could smell her, a sweet and flowery fragrance which made me ball my hands into fists. She didn't even realize the effect she had on me, or how badly I wished I could have her. But I had to control myself, because she was not mine to claim. Yet.

Having not found the answers to all the questions in her mind, Yesran continued reading the book. "Alpha," Yesran whispered as she touched the book in front of her. "The term for the leader wolf who leads the pack of other wolves in a pack. Alphas are born with the destiny of a leader. An Alpha usually has very great abilities, a strong aura, and a pheromone that can make any female wolf go crazy." Yesran was silent for a few seconds, she thought of something, but quickly Yesran shook the thought away, and continue reading. Besides Alpha, a pack also has a position called Beta, Delta, Gemma, and finally Omega. All are sorted by strength and power.

"You are so big when in your wolf form. Is that how all of you are?" "No, Alisa. We differ in ranks just like real wolves do. There are Omegas, Betas, and the ultimate Alpha. All our females are Lunas, and those cast away from the pack are wolves. These ranks also dictate our size. I am a Beta wolf, and bigger than all Omegas and Lunas who are roughly the same size while being smaller than the Alpha." "Does that mean the Betas are second in rank?" "Yes. Any one of us can become the next Alpha if the present one dies."

“How did you know that?” She shrugged. “Well, let's just say that I know about you.” She answered, not wanting to get into the details of Cara's drunken night back in college or Gabe admitting it, thinking that she knew about them before. “Mr. Berkeley is our pack's alpha, and he’s a good one at it. He’s helped a lot of us, and we’re over five hundred members.” “Pack? Alpha? What’s that?” she asked. “Yes. Green Wood wolf pack. A pack simply means that we’re all family, ruled over by our alpha, who is our leader.” He explained.

It has been three long days since that dreadful day when Jake put me under house arrest. I haven't seen anyone—not even Cathy or Sophie. I kind of missed them, and it's crazy that I also missed Jake, really badly. Maybe it's the mate pull. I’ve been stuck in my room, Googling about wolves, werewolves, and witches. I learned quite a lot, actually. I learned about mates, the bond, and that the Alpha is the leader of a pack. He has a Beta, who is second in command, and a Gamma, who is third in command. The pack also has higher-ranked wolves like the Delta, Zeta, Eta, Theta, Epsilon, and the Luna, who is the Alpha’s mate. Unfortunately, I also learned that packs have lower-ranked werewolves know

I was sprawled out on the couch, watching Aggy write something on the whiteboard in the middle of the dorm's common room. I hadn't left the dorm or gone out to eat since the incident in the cafeteria earlier. But now I was starving. Tonight, my friends had decided to give me a proper explanation about the werewolf world... which, to be honest, I still didn't believe in. Alpha, Beta, Kappa, Gamma, and Omega are typical ranks in werewolf society. Frankly, it all reminded me of some weird supernatural fraternity. The Alpha's mate was called a Luna. This mating thing... well, it was embarrassing in my opinion.

Chapter 15: Two Moons Entwined Chris read through the result slip a couple of times, thinking he had mistaken the word “Alpha” as “Omega”. Nevertheless, no matter how many times he read it, the word “Alpha” was clearly stated there. For whatever unknown reasons, Chris was not satisfied with the result and he was denying the fact Nathan was an Alpha. Before this, he was certain his best friend was an Alpha and he did not mind it. However, after talking to his mother and listening to her thoroughly, Nathan’s description fitted more to be an Omega rather than an Alpha. Nonetheless, a heavy-seed Omega — the rarest of the rare.
