I let Sasha take control and my bones snapped into place making my clothes snap and tear away off my body. Sasha growled at the larger wolf in front of us and I grinned when I let her have full control, my eyes shifting to a bright rain forest green. She jumped on the brown wolf and tackled him down but he flipped us over and swiped at my snout.

I twisted the blade and pulled it from his chest aggressively, a heavy spray of the red liquid coating my arms. I turned just in time as the swoosh of the ax came down above me. I caught it just under the head, the Bear shifter exerting his strength as he leaned over me, trying to push me down.

You'll understand this more as you read the book! In addition, I only use the term 'werewolf' in this story but they are not the traditional lore that is 'cursed' or a 'beast'. They are more of shifters, like of lycans who can control their transformations from humans to wolves or vice versa. To put it simply, they are like the 'wolves' of Twilight with special gifts so I call them werewolves in this book. Thank you and enjoy reading!
