Lyla’s POV I was burning with rage when Becky walked in. I was shocked, yes, but more than that, I was angry. What was she doing here? My mind raced with thoughts as I bristled with fury. “You better leave now before I do something you definitely won’t like,” I said, my voice cold and threatening. Becky didn’t respond right away. She looked around the room, as if she were searching for something, then took off her sunglasses and stepped closer to me.

Becky said irritably. “Mr. Gomez, she... she’s just rambling nonsense. Please ignore her!” The friend hastily apologized to Lucas. “Why should I ignore her when she dares to speak about my girlfriend like that?” Lucas said coldly with an oppressive aura. It was only then that Becky began to realize the gravity of the situation, and she finally felt fearful. “I...
