He had been strictly trained since childhood, and even sneaking out to see me was a huge risk.

Blackmoor Alpha Academy awaited, and I, a male omega masquerading as an alpha, was willingly entering a school filled with the most dominant werewolves in the country. I stared at my reflection. At twenty, I had the build of a beta, lean but muscular enough to pass casual inspection. My dark hair fell just below my ears, and my green eyes—my mother's eyes—stared back at me with a mixture of determination and fear. Nothing about my appearance screamed "omega," but my scent would betray me in an instant without the formula. The formula that had cost my family everything.

It was elegant and terrifying. We approached a woman seated behind a sleek glass desk. Her face was expressionless. When she saw Mr. Everhart, she stood quickly and bowed, deeply, reverently, before sliding something across the counter: a mask. Without hesitation, Mr. Everhart took it. The mask was white porcelain, etched with subtle obsidian lines. He placed it over his face and pinned a silver tag to his lapel. The name engraved on it was, Alpha. He turned to me “You won’t be needing this yet,” he said quietly, though his eyes behind the mask were unreadable.

But no one really knew what happened. Even when he gets asked by people about the reason for the mask he still refuses to disclose anything about it and instead choose to live like that. But there's was a particular someone though who always puts a smile on Damien's face and gives him joy each time he thinks of her.

He found his seat reserved next to Damien, who looked like quite the chirpy bird around the other guests. Damien waved over to Alex and he nodded. “Did you see my little gift for you today?”, Damien asked in a low voice. “Yeah, what the hell is that? I’m not some batman!”, Alex exclaimed in a low voice. Damien began to laugh and cooled down for a bit. “That mask is for in case shit goes down, your secret won’t be revealed, instead, people will just see you as their modern-day hero. Where’s the mask by the way?”, Damien asked before he could take a sip of his champagne.

I smile as I lean over the counter and softly respond, “Room 601 please.” He smiles back and picks up his phone, “Yes, she is here. Of course, I’ll send her right up.” He hangs up the phone and smiles at me, “This way. You’re the guest of one of our penthouse members.” He then reaches behind the desk and hands me a mask, “The penthouse guest also requests you wear this.” It’s a black sparkly mask and I examine it; it’s one you would wear at a masquerade party. I smile as I place it on my face, and he nods in approval.

Duke Raziel froze at that, “Do you have to?” She nodded, “Yes, I want to.”

"Yes!" the women answered at once. Everyone had fun. "Guys, do you agree that we should remove our masks at the same time?" Astra asked happily. Dindo is just waiting to see what happens next. He wanted to approach and hug Amore but he felt embarrassed. He was contented to just watch his friend first. He was also happy because she was safe. It’s his fault why she almost perished at Regor’s hands. "Are you all ready? One, two, three-," Astra said then they removed the masks at the same time.
