Sharp talons grabbed her by the shoulders, lifting her out of the boat. “AAAAAH!” she screamed. She was being lifted up and flown over the water, kicking and flailing. The compound came into view, and whatever had her descended to the ground. Madchen gently landed on the lawn, only to look up and see a huge black dragon standing over her. Warm breath puffed from it’s nostrils onto her face, and it’s green eyes bored into hers. The dragon turned it’s head toward her, it’s shiny onyx scales shimmering. It lumbered closer to her, nudging her up from the ground with it’s large head.

Diana noticed my struggle and frowned as she examined the knights. “They have carvings of glyphs on their swords. They’re imbued with magic! If you keep this up, your shield will break, and they’ll get to us. We need to attack!” Her words were all I needed to hear. I summoned all my energy and blasted every one of the knights with a massive wave of magic. The force of the blast sent them flying against the wall, effectively neutralizing them.
