Zodiac Academy 9 Release Date Novels & Stories

My calm demeanor revealed the power of a true Luna; I was not a female to be hunted. Midday the next day, Jordan Reed delivered a massive canvas to the Vale Hills Estate. I hung the image of Connor and me, hand in hand, on our bedroom wall. I whispered a vow to the moon that our bond would never break. “Luna, there are only three moons left until your union is broadcast to the world.” I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at Jordan. I replied, my mind already on the next move, “In that case, I better pick up the pace of the hunt.”

“Are you ready?” I searched his face for peace, for reassurance, from the man who once whispered promises into my hair, who swore the Moon itself chose us together. “I was born ready,” I said. He didn’t answer me, but I didn't put much thought into it. The drums stopped seconds later. Elder Thane was the first to take action, raising his staff to signal commencement of the Ascension. “People of the Crimson Moon Clan,” he boomed, “we gather here today, before the sacred sky to witness the Awakening of our future Luna...Akira Nightfall.”

I was the smartest student at the pack middle school, probably the high-school too and that was saying alot since we were quite a large pack. We had a rather large pack high-school since almost all of the high-school age kids in the pack attended there. The future Alpha and the Beta twins went away to the prestigious "United States Werewolf Academy." Most packs sent their high-school aged kids there, but not Midnight Moon. No, our pack only sent their future leaders to the Academy. It was a boarding school so when the Alpha heir and the Beta twins had started attending last year they had left in mid-August, came home for a week in the fall over Thanksgiving, two weeks in the winter over Chri

“Everyone says Lozark’s son is a student in the prestigious Wolves Academy. He is around twenty-two. Lozark must have given him a fake name with an ID. He's attending the academy as a normal student but no one knows what he looks like or what classes he attends.” The elders of the Kezent Moon pack made a sole rule for a wolf's strength recognition. Every wolf in the Kezent Moon pack must attend the Wolves Academy. An Alpha's son can only become the next Alpha when he graduates from the academy. “I will find him…even if he's hiding six feet under the ground.” My voice rises from the pain in my heart. “You can't cross the Green Line. Those wolves will shred you into pieces!” Scott kneels besid

Zak teases and Devin groans again. “Speaking of,” Brandon turns to look at me, “I got back just in time for my Luna’s birthday.” I look at him confused. “What?” “Your birthday’s tomorrow. It’s New Year’s Eve,” he says in a matter-of-fact tone. “Oh, shit! I totally lost track of the days!” I say, completely surprised. “There’s kind of been a lot of shit going on. “We didn’t forget,” Zak says, a meaningful smirk on his face. “After the Alpha Council meeting, your parents are taking the pups for the night. We’ve got plans for you.”

She said. "I'm sure if there's anyone who will get to know who he really is first, it's gonna be you." Luna mother said and I nodded. "Gosh! I must have bored you with my story. Let's go! Your mating ceremony is tomorrow night." My eyes widened. "Tomorrow night?" "Yeah! It's the full moon tomorrow." "Isn't that too soon?" "The next full moon is in a month," Raya said. "Isn't that too far?" I gulped. It's far, but should be enough time to get to know who Akira really is right?

“I shot some hoops. He gave me some pointers. End of story.” Esme looked skeptical, but she let it drop. “Fine. Keep your secrets. But you’re trying out Thursday, right? Even if it’s just to see Mr. Tall, Dark, and Dangerous, again?” “I haven’t decided.” “Well, decide fast. Tryouts are at four, and knowing Xavier’s reputation, spots fill up quickly.” She finally climbed off my bed, going back to her unpacking. “Fair warning though, don’t get your hopes up about anything beyond basketball or a hookup. Xavier doesn’t do relationships. Like, at all. My friend tried last year and he was super polite about turning her down, but the answer was a hard no.”

I asked. "Twelve," Aurel said. "We've seen four. That leaves eight. And the final activation..." He looked at the calendar on his desk, at the date circled in red. "The Blood Moon. The alignment that opens the door between the celestial and the infernal. Whoever is doing this plans to turn the Academy into a gateway." I reached out, my fingers tracing the Duskbane seal on the ancient map. The ink was faded, but the magic in it still hummed, recognizing my blood, my name, my stolen soul.

Blood Oath Academy never truly saw morning. The fractured moon dimmed and brightened in endless cycles, but the sky remained suspended in that strange edge between night and something almost like day. Below him, the lower training grounds were empty. The wolves would arrive soon. He should have been preparing for drills, for rank discipline, for the thousand small things expected of the heir to the Lunar Dominion.

Perhaps Zayden had decided to hang me in public. I lost track of time while crying non-stop, a loud siren snapped me out of the daze. “Alpha Zayden has announced the date of the Luna Ceremony. Madam Sylvia Bryson will be marked as Luna of the Moon Howlers Pack on the 14th of this moon.” “No!” A shriek rolled out of my tongue as my head spun, this pang of betrayal shattered my soul. The tears splashed down my face, crying was my only friend left there.
