The newer ones move much faster and can easily keep pace with a human since they don't get tired, but the older ones just shuffle along like mindless drones, incapable of thought or coordinated movement.

Darlene had wanted all those dead bodies to turn them into zombies. Everyone in this village was a zombie. These zombies looked just like regular people but were no longer living and only operated under Darlene's command. These charmed zombies were not only stronger than regular human beings but also had a large amount of poison stored in their bodies. They did not fear death or pain in the slightest, making them perfect fighting machines that regular people could do nothing about.

Her screams tore through the hallway, accompanied by the sound of flesh being torn. Soon, everything fell silent again.

Ben gave a small chuckle as he picked at a hangnail while saying, “I imagine that bite can hurt. Possibly worse than the werewolf.” Then, adjusting his body in his seat, he said, “Although they exist, zombies are not easy to find. They are very different from the zombies in the movies. The only things that the film makers got right is the fact that they eat the flesh of humans, have impaired mobility, and are ugly as sin. They are not a true corpse, but a body that has shut down almost to the point of death. It is only by the ingestion of live DNA that it can continue
