Phoebe pours everyone shots of vodka. "I will start." Ella raised her glass. "Never have I ever had a threesome." Jake took a sip, a cold smile playing on his lips. "Next life, do your homework." The battle didn't last long. The bikers were quickly overwhelmed, turned into fresh feed for the horde. The heavy pickup was still putting up a fight—its machine gun blazing—but it couldn't put a dent in the Tier 2 strength-type zombie, only pissing it off more.

Angelica screamed, dropping to her knees as her mother pulled her close, refusing to let her see the sight. Bobby stood frozen, watching his father's body topple over the edge of the roof and crash to the ground. It was as if he didn't know how to react. Then, with slow, steady steps, he made his way to the edge and looked down at his father's body. I knew what he was seeing. The zombies were tearing into his father's limbs. I didn't even want to imagine how he was feeling in that moment, but when he turned around, he looked at us and slowly pointed the gun in our direction.

I'd never love a woman with no brains like you! He pulled up the ladder entirely and disappeared into the vent. The zombies were getting closer now. I could hear their roars even from where I stood. I shot down a couple that got too close. Through the corner of my eye, I saw Yvonne stood petrified, and she was shaking all over. A zombie lunged at her. I thought it would tear her apart, but Yvonne rolled out of the way, then she snapped up a metal pipe and smashed it down on the zombie.

Leo quickly ordered his men to carry Lucas into an ambulance, and the vehicle made its way straight into the inner city. As for Biggy, Scarlet, White Doll, and Rayne, they trailed beside Lucas. Although Leo and Mike were afraid, they could not sense any hostility from the four high-ranked zombies. The image of Lucas joining forces with the four high-ranked zombies to fight against the enemy was vividly imprinted in their minds. Could it be… 'Could it be that Mr. York is really from the Dark Race?' However, none of it seemed to matter anymore as they knew that if it had not been for Lucas, the entire Anchorage Base City would have been destroyed for sure.

"This is a suppressant. It'll help you hold out a little longer." The cheap suppressant was useless to me at this stage of infection. I kept my voice steady. "You know it won't work on me." Emilia's eyes flickered. She frowned. "Zack Cohen, don't do this. Dustin's health is fragile. What if he really gets infected…" I interrupted her with a laugh. "He hasn't even been on a mission since joining the team. He has no wounds, so how could he be infected?" Emilia raised her voice. "That's just on the surface! You know the zombie virus has a three-day incubation period! As captain, I have to look out for every one of my team!"
