We made it back to the car with two slushies, a family-sized bag of sour gummies, and something that claimed to be a burrito but might’ve actually been a crime against nature.
“Okay,” Cameron said, settling back into the passenger seat. “Playlist rules: no songs with ukuleles, no songs with ‘fire’ in the title, and if you play that one song about frogs again, I’m jumping out of this car.”
“I feel like these are very targeted rules.”
“Because you’re the problem,” he said, sipping his slushie like a threat.
“You love me,” I sang.
“Nope.”
“Say it.”
“Never.”
“Say it or I’ll blast the frog song.”
