It was all her idea. “We supply you with the liquid coke, your men change it to powder, no cut, no shit.” I waited for them to go crazy, and was actually surprised when El Zorro himself opened the bottle and took a good swig. He moaned and had a small tremor, like a dying dog. Wait until it kicks in! “This is a good shit,” He cursed staring around his men in shock, then proceeded to pass it around. Everyone got a taste of it and then nodded in agreement, See? Not so hard to convince a group of old bastards.

Zane’s POV The taste of bourbon burned my throat harder than Elora’s words did, but I welcomed it anyway. It was better to have a drink sting than have Elora’s voice linger in my head any longer. I couldn’t stop drinking. The strong liquid was the only thing numbing the terror tearing through my chest like shattered glass. It was barely noon, but the bottle on my office desk was almost empty, just like how I was on the inside. I sat carefree in my chair, tie loosened like one who could no longer fight, shirt unbuttoned halfway, and my eyes still bloodshot from the previous night. I stared out the window at the city I once ruled, but it now mocked me.

They drank a couple rounds of alcohol. Zorro wasn't like Merope at all. He was warm, friendly, and perceptive. It felt pleasant talking to him. The few times that Merope wanted to scoff at Bryce, Zorro stopped her with a warning eye. Merope shoved down her displeasure with alcohol. After three glasses of it, she stood up. "Pardon me. I'm going to use the washroom." Zorro smiled warmly. "You've had wine to drink. Do you want me to go with you?"

Elorm said opening his arms and inviting Zora in. Zora smiled and emptied the cup of tea she had in her hand. She went for the other cup and also gulped it down. The temperature was just right. After taking the two cups, amounting to 0.5 litres of consumed liquid, Zora went to sit next to Elorm and he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her in.

"But it has a strong effect. Why is my head starting to spin? What did you put in here, Z?" Instead of answering his queries, Zandro splashed too much water on his friend until his whole body was completely drenched. That's what he gets for drinking his wine, such a wine thief! "Insane!" he said when he got tired of attacking the guy. "Who's insane?" Zack was laughing when he sat down on the poolside, and even if he doesn't like the taste of the wine he still refills his glass to drink more. "Is it me or my friend who got married without telling me? Damn it! Zandro, you really do lose your conscience for your friend."

The girl went to fridge, and brought out a drugged soft drink and poured into a glass cup for him. Since the drink was truly his favourite, he took the cup and drank without any protocol. She put the second cup, and gave to him, he took it and drank in a gulp. Few minutes after he took the second cup, he felt somehow! He lifted the drink and looked at the label very well, he wanted to know if it was really non-alcoholic drink. Judas Zacky was Rohan’s friend and therefore, knew that women were better than Rohan when it comes to drinking.

"You've been nagging us to drink, but you're not touching your glass when you arrive." Bob was being nice when he brought Zoe and Quinn as well. Zoe picked up her glass of water, which Bob spotted immediately. He exclaimed in disbelief, "You're drinking water, Zoe?!" The girl was an incorrigible alcoholic! "I'll pass since I still have a rehearsal tomorrow." Zoe smiled. "Don't worry, I'll drink as much water as you would alcohol for the night. And pure water, at that." "Isn't that a little weird?" Bob remained relentless. "Just drink a little, okay?"

Zara’s POV “Jeez Zara. Easy on the liquor, girl !” Rob called out from behind as he watched me wash down the last dregs of my umpteenth glass of burning Dragonian scotch down my throat. I seemed to be so possessed with the hard core drink the moment I tasted it for the first time tonight that I could not find it in me to part away with the evilly addicting nectar even for a second ! Ughh. I am a bad, bad girl now.
