BENEATH THE SURGEON'S BLADE (FILIPINO)

“Dear Sir! She’s pretty good!” 

Lily woke up in the darkness of a musty room, hearing a subordinate reporting to her master in the next room. That person was her future husband, when her biological father sold her here in a drunken state because of a gambling loss. 

Suddenly, a rustling sound came from the corner of the room. Lily cowered in fear in a corner. She asked:

 Who’s that? 

Still, no one answered, only a woman's painful groans came from the place. After a while of listening and waiting, a very weak female voice said: 

“Help me!” 

Lily thought for a long time, then boldly stretched out and dragged herself forward. Both legs and arms were tied by the rope, so Lily advanced quite slowly. Suddenly, Lily was touched by someone. Under her body there was a sticky liquid that did not understand what it was. 

Lily was startled when she saw a pair of hands grabbing her body: "Please save me!" 

She, like a drowning person, picked up a lifebuoy, clung to the hem of Lily's shirt, and leaned forward with a stronger voice. Lily tried to open her eyes wide, her eyes gradually adjusting to the darkness. Before her eyes was a girl with half of her body, her legs had been amputated, and blood was oozing around from those missing legs. 

“She… who are you? Why is all this mess?" 

Not only Lily's body, but also her voice trembled with fear at this bloody scene. 

That girl in her mouth spat out a mouthful of fresh blood that filled the hem of Lily's shirt. She swore she said: 

"They are barbarians, specializing in cannibalism. They have cut off my legs to bake. I have seen them gnaw every piece of meat from my feet. " 

The girl told the story while sobbing. When Lily heard this, she threw up because she was so disgusted with what she heard. Just imagining it was enough for her not to eat for days. 

"You… you untie me, I'll help you get rid of them. “

 The girl used all her remaining strength to undress Lily. Suddenly, from outside, the conversation stopped, the door lock rattled, Lily immediately took a few steps away from the other girl. She was afraid that they would find out her escape plot. 

"She's awake, sir!" 

Two men, one tall and one short, stood in front of the door. The light bounced back so Lily couldn't see the faces of the two men clearly. The guy Lily was going to marry was probably the tall guy standing in the middle of that door. 

He wears a black suit, his hair is tied in a ponytail, his body is well proportioned. But for some reason, his whole body exuded a coldness that made everyone around him feel fear and submission. In particular, on his hand there is a very prominent red necklace, because there is also a rather large gold wolf attached. 

He didn't seem too interested in her, so he turned away within a minute, leaving Lily and the bloody girl behind. Only now did the light make Lily see her clearly. His face was scratched and patched, his legs were amputated to the pelvis, his face was white from blood loss. 

The other man and man took a few steps closer to Lily and said: 

"Be obedient! It's your honor to marry him!" 

The man holding Lily's chin jerked to the side, her face clearly showing an unyielding will, a bit of contempt for the person standing in front of her. She spit in his face and laughed. 

"You bastards, you too will be strangled by the police and sent to prison. " 

"Ha ha, strong. I'm waiting for the police to come and arrest me. Come and go.”

The man in front of him smiled savagely. His scarred face, slanted eyes, and dark lips, perhaps Lily would never forget. After that, he turned and left. With each heavy footstep of a fat body, it felt like it could shake the whole room. 

Fortunately, he did not notice, because Lily was able to free the rope in her hand. The door slammed shut in front of them, the darkness returned, and now the legless girl was unconscious. Lily ran over and called: 

"Girl! Girl! Wake up!" 

Lily immediately put her hand to her nose, wondering when she had stopped breathing. She untied the ropes on her legs, they tied them quite tightly, so Lily struggled for a long time to be able to escape. 

She fumbled in the darkness around the room. This is actually a cellar, not a room. Because above Lily's head there was a small window which connected to the tree stumps above the garden of the house.

Lily found a rather large table, and a wooden chair. After struggling for a while, Lily managed to pull them close to that door. The light outside was extremely weak, so it was difficult for Lily to locate objects in the room to move. 

Loud noises resounded. Lily was afraid that they would hear outside and come here to tie her up, so her escape plan would be ruined. 

After a long time, Lily managed to stack the tables and chairs on top of each other. She climbed onto the table, then stood on the chair above, looking out the window. Outside, that seems to be the garden of this mansion. There were two guards at the gate, cold faces, holding a long gun, standing very seriously. Lily tried to pull the door hard. It was pretty solid, so it took more force. She gritted her teeth, using all her strength to pull the iron door that had been fastened to the door.

The door swung open, hitting the floor with a loud clang. From outside, the guards pushed open the door. Lily quickly rowed to the door to escape. 

"Catch her, catch her. "

The two guards at the door let out loud screams, and Lily was lucky to get out. Outside is a large garden with large trees neatly trimmed. Lily ran as fast as she could from the mansion. 

The two gatekeepers, hearing shouts from inside the cellar, immediately ran over. They discovered that the door had been flung open and scurried around. 

"She's over there. "

One of the gatekeepers discovered Lily crawling out through a dog hole in the wall. They were all big, strong men, and within seconds they were right behind her.

Lily managed to wriggle through the large trunks, filling a hollow with many roots sticking out of the ground. She was lying on the ground in the darkness that covered her entire body. 

"Where is it?"

"Not found!"

"If you can't find it, wait and kill yourself. "

They rushed to look for the wife of the leader of the gang. If they couldn't find Lily, they would surely be chopped up and roasted like the girl in the cellar just now. 

They were all big guys, and yet they were afraid of the leader. He must be a beast, not a human. Lily shuddered at the thought of this, a feeling of fear rising to every hairline.
