CHAPTER 8: HAPPY MARRIED LIFE

Jason stood with Evans on the left side of the registry wearing his meanest look. He wore his least favorite suit and a shoe he was about to discard. To him nothing was fascinating about the wedding and he just wished it would be over as soon as possible.

His father had successfully wrapped him around a lady he had never known from Adam.

Cynthia wore a flowing white gown that rubbed the floor everywhere she moved, her blonde hair was packed in a ponytail. Her makeover was simple and her smile was wide. The other 2 ladies who escorted her to the registry kept throwing winks and seductive looks at Evans.

"This is so weird, man. Are you sure you wanna do this?" Evans lowered himself to Jason's ears.

"Let's just get this over with. I'm getting pissed already," he whispered back.

The marriage registrar stood up. "Can both parties please step forward?"

They both moved forward, handing over the rings and signing the certificates. The marriage registrar handed a copy to both of them.
