Aurora Vale has always believed she was ordinary—until the night a full moon awakens an ancient power hidden in her blood. In a single heartbeat, her life changes forever when she discovers the impossible: she has not one, but two fated mates. One is Lucien Draven, the cold and irresistible Vampire King who has ruled for centuries from the shadows. The other is Kael Blackthorn, the fearless Alpha King destined to protect his pack at any cost. For generations, vampires and werewolves have been sworn enemies. Their sacred laws insist that a mate can only belong to one. But Aurora’s existence defies every rule ever written. As an ancient prophecy resurfaces and a powerful enemy rises from the darkness, Aurora becomes the key to a war that could unite—or destroy—the supernatural world. Forced to choose between blood and moonlight, love and duty, she soon realizes the greatest danger isn’t falling for two kings… It’s surviving long enough to keep them both. In a world where love is forbidden and destiny has made a fatal mistake, who will Aurora choose… and what if refusing to choose changes the fate of them all? One girl. Two mates. One prophecy. A destiny written in blood and moonlight.

Chapter 1

Prologue: The Prophecy

Six Hundred Years Ago…

The sky bled crimson.

A blood moon hung above the Kingdom of Noctis, bathing the ancient battlefield in an eerie red glow. The scent of blood and smoke filled the air as the clash between vampires and werewolves reached its final, devastating hour.

Bodies littered the ground.

Broken swords lay half-buried in the mud.

The war had lasted for centuries, and neither side had emerged victorious.

At the center of the battlefield stood two kings.

One wore a black cloak that flowed like liquid shadow, his crimson eyes glowing with quiet menace. King Lucien Draven, ruler of the vampires.

Opposite him stood King Alaric Blackthorn, the Werewolf King, his broad shoulders streaked with blood, his golden eyes burning with defiance.

Between them, an ancient stone altar shimmered beneath the blood moon.

A woman cloaked in silver stepped forward.

The Moon Goddess.

The battlefield fell silent.

Every vampire knelt.

Every werewolf bowed.

Even the wind seemed to hold its breath.

Her silver eyes swept over the two kings before she spoke, her voice carrying across the battlefield like a whisper carried on the night.

“For centuries, you have waged war in the name of pride.”

“You have turned brothers into enemies.”

“You have stained my moon with innocent blood.”

Lucien lowered his head.

Alaric clenched his fists.

Neither dared to interrupt.

The Moon Goddess raised one elegant hand, and the altar burst into brilliant silver light.

Within it appeared the image of a young woman.

Her face was hidden, but a glowing crescent moon rested just below her collarbone.

A mark unlike any seen before.

“When the Moon’s Daughter awakens,” the goddess declared, “she shall be bound not to one king…”

A hush swept through the crowd.

“…but to two.”

Gasps echoed across the battlefield.

“Impossible,” one vampire whispered.

“A mate can only belong to one,” a wolf elder growled.

The Moon Goddess silenced them with a single glance.

“The laws you created do not bind destiny.”

Lucien’s crimson eyes remained fixed on the glowing vision.

Alaric took a hesitant step forward.

“What will become of her?”

The goddess’s expression darkened.

“She will hold the power to unite every supernatural realm.”

The silver light flickered.

“…or destroy them all.”

Thunder cracked across the heavens.

The blood moon glowed brighter.

“If either king chooses hatred over love…”

The ground trembled beneath their feet.

“…the world will drown in eternal darkness.”

The vision vanished.

The altar shattered into countless fragments.

The Moon Goddess slowly faded into silver mist.

Her final words lingered in the night air.

“Protect her…”

“For when she awakens…”

“The fate of every kingdom will rest in her hands.”

Then she was gone.

Silence consumed the battlefield.

Lucien and Alaric looked at one another.

For the first time in centuries, they did not see enemies.

They saw the same impossible future.

One woman.

Two fated mates.

A destiny that would either end the war…

…or begin a far deadlier one.

Present Day

Six hundred years later, beneath another brilliant full moon, a young woman named Aurora Vale had no idea that fate had finally come to collect what had been promised.

And somewhere in the darkness…

Two ancient bloodlines were already waiting for her.
